    Summary:

    A Warehouse Worker at Pacific Seafood is a key role on our Warehouse team supporting efforts to increase operational efficiency and maximizing cost control efforts within the warehouse. This position involves promptly unloading/replenishing products, and is ideal for someone who is organized, reliable, and safety conscious. Key ResponsibilitiesAttend and participate in department meetings that cover safety, quality, and productivity issues.Work with transport drivers to ensure incoming loads are received promptly.Able to review receiving documentation to ensure accuracy.Maintain the warehouse configuration according to the approved layout for product, packaging, and equipment storage.Properly load a pallet make sure loads are stable and secure.Must achieve cost-effective standards for all warehouse activities.Practice good housekeeping skills, i.e., clean up spills immediately or flag the area off, avoid blocking emergency exits and report any potential hazards to a supervisor.Follow all established safety rules and obey safety signs and tags.Properly operate the forklift, pallet jack, and other necessary powered equipment.Ensure product is inspected for quality, product/pallets properly tagged and rotated.Understand how to read and utilize pick tickets to pick, pack and load orders.Verify that all return labels have been approved/checked before placing the product back in inventory.Understand and perform all the appropriate HACCP plans assigned.Ensure product is fully received, rotation is complete, and the product is staged in the correct quantities.Promptly report all needed repairs and ensure preventive maintenance is performed on your equipment.Perform necessary emergency replenishment for products that run below minimum levels to meet customer order demands from the daily order selection shift.Perform other duties as assigned.Pay Range: $18.19 - $21.08 hourly

  • Seasonal Shellfish Farm Worker

    Summary:As a Shellfish Farm Worker, you will assist general farm operations including, but not limited to, the planting, maintenance, and harvest of Pacific Seafood's clam and oyster beds. You will also perform general grounds maintenance and upkeep and assist with various projects as needed.Key Responsibilities: Perform tasks on the shellfish beds as directed, including harvesting oysters in tubs, installing pipe and hanging longlines, and planting, maintaining, and harvesting clam or oyster beds.Demonstrate the ability to work safely and effectively in inclement weather and adverse conditions that are typically found on the tide beds and on the boats.Assist with farm organization and clean-up as directed.Operate various farm equipment including pallet jacks, forklifts, and farm boats.Complete paperwork logs and maintains records as required.Maintain farm safety at all times; comply with company health and safety guidelines.Provide backup support for other duties as needed, including acting as a deckhand on the dredge boats, cutting longline pipes, and making long lines.Perform other duties as assigned.What You Bring to Pacific Seafood:Required:Minimum of six months related experience in the construction, manufacturing, farming, or related industry is preferred.A prior boat operator experience license is preferred.Valid Driver’s License preferred Pay Range: Starts at $18.00 Hourly Total compensation                               At Pacific Seafood, your base wage is only a portion of your overall compensation package.
