    Duties/Responsibilities
    • Assist in the collection of receivables: returned payments, fuel tax/audit assessments, civil penalties, and miscellaneous receivables
    • Utilize skip tracing and other tools to locate delinquent customers
    • Apply state statutes, rules, and ADOT policies to receivable collections
    • Communicate via phone, email, and letters with external and internal customers
    • Process credit card/check transactions, internal deposits, bank levies, bond claims, and agency transfers
    • Refer debt to the Arizona Attorney General’s Office; remove uncollected debt
    • Test for internal system enhancements
    • Validate, record, and report all revenue; perform banking/general ledger accounting functions including account analysis and reconciliations
    • Write and maintain desk procedures; complete other duties as assigned
    • Cross-train with all department duties and provide backup as needed
    • Work in fast-paced, multi-tasking environment

    Required Qualifications
    • Collections experience (must be clearly stated on resume)
    • Strong communication skills (phone/email/letter)
    • Knowledge of banking and general ledger functions
    • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
    • Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
    • Available for onsite interviews and immediate start
