As a third-generation family-owned business, we prioritize helping employees succeed and maintain a balance between work and personal life.At our company, the Project Supervisor leads the fabrication of exhibits based on design drawings and specifications. This individual will play a key role in determining construction methods, ensuring efficiency, and maintaining high-quality standards. They work closely with stakeholders, project team members, and other internal and external partners to achieve project goals and objectives.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Responsible for providing estimates on projects as requested by sales departmentInterpret design drawings and provided specifications to develop effective build strategies.Collaborate with the Detailer to ensure accurate and efficient AutoCAD drawings for fabrication.Oversee production workflow, materials allocation, and build sequencing to meet deadlines.Work hands-on with the fabrication team to resolve technical challenges and improve build methods.Maintain quality control throughout the fabrication process, ensuring exhibits meet design intent and structural integrity.Communicate with project managers to align production schedules with client expectations and deadlines.Identify and implement process improvements to optimize efficiency and reduce waste.Collaborate with other departments to coordinate exhibit production.Follows Communications Exhibits, Inc. handbookPerform other related duties as assignedQualifications:Minimum of 5 years of experience in exhibit fabrication, cabinetry, scenic construction, or related field.Strong ability to read and interpret design drawings, blueprints, and construction documents.Experience working with a variety of materials, including wood, metal, plastics, and laminates.Proficiency in problem-solving and troubleshooting fabrication challenges.Hands-on experience with woodworking and metalworking tools and machinery.Leadership experience with the ability to guide and motivate a production team.Strong communication and collaboration skills.Knowledge of AutoCAD or familiarity with CAD drawings is a plus.Preferred Qualifications/Skills/Abilities:Experience in exhibit or trade show industry production.Background in millwork, cabinetry, or set building.Experience with CNC machinery and production automation tools.Ability to run a forklift and power toolsAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manualsAbility to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organizationAbility to work with mathematical conceptsKnowledge of internal project management softwareKnowledge of Microsoft Office SuiteAble to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 poundsBenefits and Perks:Group health benefitsEye and dental careLife insuranceShort-term and long-term disabilityEmployee wellness program401kPaid time off and holidaysBonuses through profit sharingPaid maternity/paternity leaveCompany-sponsored eventsCasual dress codeCEI is an Affirmative Action/EEO Employer – qualified applicants will be considered for employment without regard to protected veteran or disability status, race/color, religion, gender, national origin, age, sexual orientation, gender expression, gender identity, or any other legally protected basis.
