We currently have more than 50 team members and adding 20 more by year end.We seek a unique individual to run the front end of our office. The position is similar to an office manager. Responsibilities are diverse and below is just a short list:Responsible to gather payroll information on a weekly basis from our field team members. We utilize a project management software for time card information. Thus, the position requires background in using different kinds of data gathering software above and beyond Microsoft/Google products. Must embrace technology as a benefit.Works closely with Human Resources to track field team member's certifications, licenses, credentials and course work. In addition, the office manager is responsible for all documentation tied to the hiring process and completion of legal compliance requirements such as:Department of Industrial RelationsVarious Payroll Benefits from health insurance, retirement program, vision and dental; must be able to consistently and regularly update records of our team member.Respond to inquiries regarding employment status, history records, garnishments and the various legal authority requests for information.Understand and assist with the annual worker's compensation insurance audit and ensure records of field activities are recorded for worker's compensation insurance purposes.Receive remittances from our general contractors and process the received payments for deposits; documentation recording with the bookkeeper and communication with the controller.Track all incoming mail and disburse to the proper individuals for processing.Arrange lodging/logistics and track per diem for field team members.Manage the office itself including supplies, maintenance, utilities, technology hardware, software needs and of course take care of the cat too.Process all Pre-Lien documentation, get notaries as required for lien waivers, track all registered mail and follow up on missing or delayed legal paperwork associated with waivers.There is a lot more; but, the key is the level of understanding the applicant has related to the construction industry, technology, human resources and data processing.The applicant isn't expected to know all the above.
