    Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWelder Responsibilities:•Perform GMAW/MIG/Wire feed welding to AWS D1.1. standards•Perform standard work and tasks common in a production welding environment following LaBounty procedures, quality and safety policies.•Layout, fit-up, measure and tack weldments.•Arc air welding (experience beneficial, will train).•Use of PPE (personal protective equipment) and adhere to all safety programs and policies•Must be able to communicate fully with supervisor(s) and coworker(s).•Assist in documenting standard work procedures and provided feedback and suggestions to continuously improve the quality of manufacturing processes.•Closeout shop orders and follow production schedule to facilitate timely part delivery/availability•Maintain safe and organized work area including end of shift clean up in accordance with 5S standards.•Perform autonomous maintenance, for daily equipment functionality.•This is a Safety-sensitive position.Knowledge/Education:•Associate’s degree preferred•Good mechanical aptitude •Knowledge of basic weld symbols on blueprints.•Basic computer skills, MS-Office: MS Windows – Excel, Word & Outlook•Comfortable and knowledgeable use of standard repair and hand toolsSkills and Abilities:•Able to use a tape measure, level, angle finders and squares•Ability to understand and follow written and oral procedures and directions.•Ability to handle all materials safely using a Jib hoist, overhead crane, and forklifts, including lifting devices (chains, straps, slings)•An eye for details and precision•Ability to operate all welding equipment if assigned.•Continuous standing and walking.•Intermittent bending/twisting, pushing/pulling, climbing, lifting/lowering. Conocedor del inventario y manejo de seguridad para que se mantengan en condiciones requeridas por el fabricante y la Aduana Federal. Controlando la entrada y salida de autos de la Zona Libre, mediante una comunicación efectiva de compromiso y entrega. Además, de asistir a los diferentes departamentos en gestiones de mensajería y compra de productos.

    Requisitos

    • Grado Escolar-Cuarto Año/Equivalencia

    • Experiencia Manejando Autos

    • Experiencia en Servicio al Cliente

    • Destrezas de comunicación oral

    • Licencia de Conducir
