Responsibilities
This position is responsible for assisting in the repair and overhaul of equipment, refrigeration, heating, and ventilation equipment to ensure customer needs are met efficiently, accurately, and on time.
Provides service to the customer base by repairing and overhauling equipment, such as compressors, water pumps, air handlers, electrical and mechanical control devices that exceed the customer’s expectations. Provides general repair work on refrigeration, heating and ventilation equipment, such as air conditioning units, evaporative condensers, ice machine equipment, water pumps, gas furnaces, compressors and electric motors Provides preventative maintenance activities for customers by diagnosing equipment malfunction and any operating deficiency of the mechanical equipment to ensure quality work performance for the customer base. Provides department support by processing job tickets, work orders to the necessary department in a timely manner. Provides necessary training to new or less qualified technicians as needed. Maintains proper truck inventory continuously and drives company vehicle in a safe manner. Performs other duties as assigned.Qualifications

Valid EPA certificate.
5+ year's experience in commercial HVAC, refrigeration, and electrical required. Basic knowledge of refrigeration, HVAC, ice machines, gas furnaces, and electrical. · Ability and knowledge of the functions and safety precautions of the components of a gas furnace system.

Work Environment:
This job typically operates in convenience stores, grocery stores, food service and/or construction environment with need to work at heights from ladders and/or Scissor lifts. Mechanical rooms can have elevated noise levels. The position regularly works near/with refrigeration/HVAC equipment that can expose the workers to extreme cold from refrigerant and high heat from brazing operations. This role routinely works in outside conditions that include inclement weather, heat and humidity, and exposure to dust. These conditions require employees to use the correct PPE and safe work practices.
Physical Demands:
This position is very active and requires excellent stamina to perform strenuous physical labor under adverse field conditions. Employees are regularly required to walk and stand for long periods, hear, drive, sit, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, climb, use hands and fingers, and lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, occasionally up to 50 pounds. Responsibilities
JOB SUMMARY
This is an entry-level position for service. Position is responsible for assisting in the repair and overhaul equipment, refrigeration, heating and ventilation equipment to ensure customer needs are met efficiently, accurately and on time.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Repairs and overhauls equipment, such as compressors, water pumps, air handlers, electrical and mechanical control devices that exceeds the customer’s expectations. Provides general repair work on refrigeration, heating and ventilation equipment, such as air conditioning units, evaporative condensers, ice machine equipment, water pumps, gas furnaces, compressors and electric motors. Provides preventative maintenance activities for customers by diagnosing equipment malfunction and any operating deficiency of the mechanical equipment to ensure quality work performance for the customer base. Provides department support by processing job tickets, work orders to the necessary department in a timely manner. Positive attitude toward necessary training from Specialist on the job. Provides support by picking up and delivering cases and installing cases. Drives company vehicle, when required, in a safe manner. Performs other duties as assigned.Qualifications

Education / Training
High school diploma or GED. Course work at an accredited vocational technical or trade school. 0 - 2 years' experience in commercial HVAC, refrigeration, and electrical required. Must have passed Tech Skills level 1 with an 80% or better. Driver license and EPA Certifications. Work Environment:
This job typically operates in convenience stores, grocery stores, food service and/or construction environment with need to work at heights from ladders and/or Scissor lifts. Mechanical rooms can have elevated noise levels. The position regularly works near/with refrigeration/HVAC equipment that can expose the workers to extreme cold from refrigerant and high heat from brazing operations. This role routinely works in outside conditions that include inclement weather, heat and humidity, and exposure to dust. These conditions require employees to use the correct PPE and safe work practices.
Physical Demands:
This position is very active and requires excellent stamina to perform strenuous physical labor under adverse field conditions. Employees are regularly required to walk and stand for long periods, hear, drive, sit, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, climb, use hands and fingers, and lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, occasionally up to 50 pounds.
