Buscamos un instalador de framing comercial especializado en paneles de yeso (Gypson board) y framing de metal estructuras (con especialización en carpintería, estructuras metálicas de interior y exterior y paneles de yeso "Gypson board")para que se incorpore a nuestro equipo en la base del aérea de Aguadilla, Puerto Rico. En este puesto práctico, desempeñará un papel clave en nuestras labores de construcción realizando diversas tareas físicas y de carpintería especializada. Utilizando una variedad de herramientas manuales y eléctricas, ayudará a construir y dar forma a espacios de calidad, manteniendo al mismo tiempo un lugar de trabajo limpio, seguro y eficiente.
Qué harás:
Trabajar con sistemas de estructuras metálicas( framing de metal), paneles de yeso (Gypson board) y otros materiales en la construcción comercial.Trabajar con ACT (plafones acústicas para techos).Ayudar a otros trabajadores cualificados en la obra según sea necesario.Limpiar y preparar las obras, excavar zanjas y colocar soportes de refuerzo.Montar andamios, retirar escombros y desechar de forma segura los materiales no peligrosos. Manejar equipos de construcción y apoyar su mantenimiento y conservación.Seguir todos los protocolos de seguridad en consonancia con la misión, la visión y los valores de RQ.Esta es una gran oportunidad para crecer con un equipo que valora la artesanía, la seguridad y el bienestar de su personal.

Todo el trabajo se realizará en la base militar y se pagará el salario vigente exigido por la ley Davis-Bacon, específico para la base.
Todas las tareas deben completarse utilizando el equipo adecuado y cumpliendo con las normas de seguridad.
Salario: $16-20 dólares por hora.

Requisitos:
Para este puesto se requiere como mínimo un título de secundaria o GED. Se requieren cinco o más años de experiencia en carpintería (puede ser una combinación de carpintería en bruto y de acabado). Se requieren dos o más años (o equivalente) de experiencia laboral en el campo o en el oficio de la construcción comercial; se prefiere experiencia en construcción gubernamental, militar o comercial a gran escala. Se requiere experiencia en el armado e instalación de estructuras metálicas de acero. Se prefiere experiencia en ACT (tejas acústicas para techos). Se prefiere certificación en RCP y primeros auxilios. Se prefiere formación específica o certificados en lo siguiente: Formación y certificado en carretillas elevadoras/plataformas elevadoras. Formación en excavación de zanjas y apuntalamiento. Formación en protección contra caídas. Formación en espacios confinados. Formación en bloqueo/etiquetado.Certificado en plataformas elevadoras de tijera/plataformas elevadoras de brazo. EM-385 40 horas. OSHA 10 horas.
