    Position Summary:

    This role will be responsible for supporting production by safely maintaining equipment to produce the highest quality. Diagnose and repair simple and complex manufacturing equipment issues, and perform routine maintenance tasks.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Follow good manufacturing practices, personal protective equipment requirements, and safety guidelines.Perform basic mechanical adjustments like tensioning drive belts, conveyor belts, tracking belts and chains.Works safely around moving equipment and conveyors in a wet environmentBe proficient in the use of standard hand tools such as wrenches, hammers, bearing pullers, etc.Perform building mechanical repairs such as overhead door track and panel replacement, concrete work, and chain link repairs. Change motors, pulleys, gear boxes and belting.Perform simple plumbing repairs such as unclogging drains, replace faucets, and toilet repairs. Troubleshoot simple mechanical systems such as chain drives and pumps. Perform scheduled and emergency repairs on all equipment and building structures (i.e. pneumatic, hydraulic, electronic electrical plumbing)Replace slicer, cutter, dicer blade assemblies and perform necessary adjustments.Read piping diagrams and identify the function of various components for air and water distribution systems. Handle blade housingLock out/Tag out equipment as necessarySafely operate shop equipment such as grinders, cut-off saws, power tools, ladders, etc.Comply with SQF Regulatory ProgramsRead and complete work orders, paperwork, specification books, schematics and manuals.Perform preventive maintenance and other duties as assigned.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Ensure compliance with and maintain all GMP/PPE/Safety, HACCP & Sanitation guidelines and processes.Understand and implement requirements for product sampling and sample product following PCT sampling procedures established by the customer and corporate QA.Sample finished product for Hold & Release PCT sampling as required by customers; prepares logs and submits samples for Hold & Release tests.Conduct seal integrity tests on finished products and ensure PMOs/SMOs perform equipment adjustments as needed to ensure 100% compliance with seal integrity. Identify any and all non-conformances, document and report it to the PMO/SMO and production leads for immediate follow-up; correct abnormalities and restore functioning where needed.Clean and/or fill-up the Haug tank at the start of every shift and maintain tank water level and cleanliness throughout the shift.Log leaks, non-conformances and sample submissions in the QA database. Set up the bagger (Hayssen) per bag specifications.Maintain equipment and quality (bag and contents). Conduct quality inspections, visual checks of defect, FO’s, size, color, quality, etc.Manage and reduce waste (product giveaway) by use of scale system. Establish Bagged Salad Efficiency (Production rates and BPM). Certify the bag meets product and order specifications numbers by visual checks of lot numbers and code dates. Validate quality of the bag (air testing, seals, code date, weight, nitrogen, volume, etc.) Lift/carry forming tubes and film roll and adjust to bagger equipment (50 lbs). Perform other duties as assigned.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    Key Responsibilities:

    Follow all GMP procedures.Follow all Food Safety, Food Quality and Food Security Policies.Report any equipment failure to the Sanitation Manager/Supervisor.Set up and tear down production equipment as needed to perform specific cleaning applications.Use chemicals to clean and sanitize food contact and non-food contact surfaces.Inspect all equipment after releasing the line to the Sanitation Manager / Supervisor for inspection.Responsible for documentation of job tasks performed on sanitation checklist.     Position Summary:

    This role supports production by safely maintaining equipment to produce the highest quality. Assist with diagnosing and repairing simple and complex manufacturing equipment issues, and perform routine maintenance tasks.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Follow good manufacturing practices, personal protective equipment requirements, and safety guidelines.Assist with changing motors, pulleys, gear boxes and belting.Working knowledge of use of standard hand tools such as wrenches, hammers, bearing pullers, etc.Perform basic mechanical adjustments like tensioning drive belts, conveyor belts, tracking belts and chains.Assist with replacing automated equipment mechanical components.Assist with performing simple plumbing repairs such as unclogging drains, replace faucets, and toilet repairs.     Key Responsibilities:

    Ensure compliance with and maintain all GMP/PPE/Safety, SQF, HACCP & Sanitation guidelines and processes.Complete pre-flight and shut down procedures. Set up the bagger (Hayssen) per bag specifications.Maintain equipment and quality (bag and contents). Perform preventative maintenance of the equipment (Program Bagger and scales, etc.) when necessary. Conduct quality inspections, visual checks of defect, FO’s, size, color, quality, etc.Manage and reduce waste (product giveaway) by use of scale system. Establish Bagged Salad Efficiency (Production rates and BPM). Certify the bag meets product and order specifications numbers by visual checks of lot numbers and code dates. Validate quality of the bag (air testing, seals, code date, weight, nitrogen, volume, etc.) Lift/carry forming tubes and film roll and adjust to bagger equipment (50 lbs). Perform other duties as assigned.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    Ability to read, write and speak English; basic math skills.Ability to be cross trained and multi-task in multiple positions. Willingness and flexibility to work in a cold, wet, fast-paced, 24 hour plant environment.Ability to work independently and in a team environment.GED/High School Diploma.Must be proficient in English, Spanish, Haitian Creole, or French
