    What You'll Do

    Audit, receive, process, pack, handle returns, and ship orders

    Rotate through tasks within your department

    Perform physical tasks: bending, reaching, standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs

    Complete receiving/shipping documentation

    Follow standard operating procedures and identify improvement opportunities

    Use available resources to resolve order or inventory issues

    Under general supervision, the associate will accurately and efficiently select products in the warehouse. Prepare products for shipping by stacking in an orderly and stable configuration, while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    Read customer order from label screen and select product by slot and description.

    Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets in the proper sequence.

    Attach labels on product.

    Properly operate an electric pallet jack (2-pallet length) to proceed to correct slot location, and transport product to dock area for staging.

    Handle products with the necessary care.

    Report any damage of merchandise, equipment or facility to a supervisor.

    Perform daily equipment checks.

    Assist in the clean-up of the facility and sign off on the daily cleaning area that the supervisor may assign.

    Sign in and out for all equipment when used.

    Use basic communication skills to understand work systems, instructions, etc.

    Adhere to all applicable GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice), personal hygiene, and SQF (Safe Quality Food) policies and procedures as described in the European Imports - Sysco Food Safety Training Manual.

    Perform other duties as assigned.

    QUALIFICATIONS
    Minimum Requirements

    Must be at least 18 years of age.

    0 - 1 Year relevant work experience.

    Frequently lift product that weighs 10lb - 75lbs and up to 100lbs.

    Frequently reach up to 72 inches.

    Constantly bend and twist while operating an electric pallet jack or forklift, retrieving products from lower shelf areas.

    Work in very extreme temperatures (cooler and/or freezer).

    Work on your feet for 10 - 12 hours daily.

    Preferred Requirements

    JOB SUMMARY
    Warehouse receiver is responsible for efficient, safe and accurate unloading of the transport trucks and performing the assigned warehouse maintenance tasks.


    Responsibilities Include


    1. Must report to work on time and clock in and out properly.

    2. Keep all warehouse loading and unloading areas and grounds clean. Fills racks, pick lines and all pick locations. Pushes/pulls pallets and loads and unloads appropriate company products.

    3. Must be able to use and understand RF guns and functions of Location Based Inventory.

    4. Unload inbound freight and outbound freight.

    5. Ensure loads are done accurately and neatly.

    6. Sweep, mop, and restock pick area, keeping work area clean.

    7. Replenishment of all pick locations and areas.

    8. Responsible for assisting in all functions of warehouse maintenance.

    9. Restock and rework returned beer.

    10. Visually inspect all cases unloaded to ensure they are in saleable condition.

    11. Be aware of code dates and load the oldest product first.

    12. Report any accidents to manager on duty immediately.

    13. Upon completion of the unloading of each truck give the receiving report to the Warehouse Manager for verification.

    14. Prior to the end of your shift each day ensure all empty pallets are removed from the pick area and properly stored.

    15. Clear the pick area of debris and stretch wrap at the end of the truck unloading process each day.

    16. Must be able to obtain forklift certification through the company.

    17. Maintain open and clear communications with the owners, managers, and other employees of the company.

    18. Maintain open and clear communications with the vendors and retailers that do business with the company.

    19. Obtain from the Warehouse Manager approval prior to working in excess of your regular schedule.

    20. Dress in uniform and maintain your personal appearance in a professional manner and according to company policy.

    21. Conduct all your activities within the guidelines of all company policies and procedures.

    22. Conduct all of your activities in accordance to the local, state and federal liquor control regulations.

    23. Perform all work activities in accordance to the safe work practices, policies and procedures.

    24. Adhere to all established inventory control procedures and practices.

    25. Help second and third shift with the loading of carts/pallet trucks as needed.

    26. Adapt to any new responsibilities required by the Warehouse Manager or Operations Manager.
