Shift Schedule: Monday–Friday 6:00 AM–4:00 PM + Rotational Saturdays 6:00 AM–12:00 PM
Flexibility Required: Must be available between 6:00 AM–4:00 PM based on assigned coverage location
Hours per Week: 40 hours

1. Candidate must have reliable transportation, valid driver license, and clean driving record.
2. Floaters are eligible to submit mileage between work locations for expense reimbursement.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform venipuncture, capillary, pediatric, and geriatric blood collections following established procedures.Prepare and process specimens accurately for laboratory testing.Verify patient demographic information, initials, and signatures after collection to ensure proper labeling and identification.Maintain accurate documentation and required records.Provide a safe, professional, and welcoming environment for patients.Explain collection procedures clearly and build patient trust and confidence.Follow all safety, confidentiality, compliance, and quality standards.Maintain productivity and accuracy in a fast-paced healthcare environment.Support multiple patient service centers and office locations with minimal notice.Demonstrate excellent customer service and professionalism with patients, coworkers, and clients.Qualifications:

Demonstrate technique/s using straight needles and/or butterfly needles.
Fully understand all of the physicians' orders. Matches laboratory requisition forms to specimen tubes. Label, centrifuge, split, and freeze specimens as required by test order.
Check all test requisitions or computer labels against the script to ensure 100% correctness.
Package specimens for transport.
Stores specimens at the required temperature and places them.
Qualifications:
A High School Diploma or GED is required.
A minimum of 3-5 yr. of phlebotomy experience is required.
