    Position Overview:

    Seeking a highly skilled ARRT Certified Radiologic Technologist to join its Cardiac Catheterization and Electrophysiology (EP) Lab. This role involves assisting with a variety of interventional cardiac procedures and EP responsibilities in a fast-paced, two-room lab environment.


    Key Responsibilities:

    Perform and assist with interventional cardiac procedures including PCI, Impella, and balloon pump.Scrub for EP procedures such as device implants, lead revisions, and ablations.Operate Toshiba X-Ray equipment and document procedures using Epic Cupid.Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe and effective patient care.Float to Interventional Radiology as needed.

    Duties:

    Purpose of Position: The primary function of the Quality Management Outreach Specialist is to provide support for internal and external requirements related to improving quality performance in its programs.     • Handle requests for care coordination, assessing the request, the member's needs, and facilitating appropriate interventions and follow up.

    • Maintain accurate and complete documentation of required information in compliance with risk management and regulatory requirements.

    • Assist member with basic benefit information.

    • Assist members with appointments for specialists, educational classes, and transportation.

    • Perform data entry of medical information; maintain tracking process and reports.

    • Assist Quality Management personnel to coordinate members' appointments, equipment, social services, and home health needs.

    • Participate in team meetings.

    • Promote communication with the Care Management team and other internal departments to ensure members receive needed services and to foster member satisfaction.

    • Alert the appropriate Team Lead when members share clinical issues that need to be addressed.

    • Comply with all orientation requirements, annual and other mandatory training, organizational and departmental policies and procedures and actively participate in the evaluation process.

    • Share observations and provide feedback regarding workflow to ensure continuous quality improvement. • Maintain professional competences as a Quality Management Outreach Specialist.

    • Perform other duties as assigned

    Skills:

    One year of managed care experience preferably in Care Coordination Experience working with the health needs of the population served. Experience as a Medical assistant or Licensed Vocational Nurse is a plus. •One or more years of experience in the medical field. Managed Care Experience a plus.

    •Strong customer service skills to coordinate service delivery including attention to members/caregivers, sensitivity to concerns, proactive identification and rapid resolution of issues to promote positive outcomes for members.

    •Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, problem solve and work effectively with people. •Bilingual candidates who are fluent in Spanish, Haitian Creole and/or Russian are strongly preferred. •Working knowledge of medical terminology and abbreviations.

    •Proficiency with computers navigating in multiple systems and web-based applications.

    •Confident, autonomous, solution driven, detail oriented, high standards of excellence, nonjudgmental, diplomatic, resourceful, intuitive, dedicated, resilient and proactive.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    Perform moderate to highly complex clinical laboratory tests independently, including newly introduced tests requiring specialized skills.Prepare and oversee preparation of reagents, stock solutions, standards, and controls. Test new reagents/controls and evaluate their effectiveness.Determine specimen acceptability and ensure accurate data calculations via manual or computerized methods.Accurately enter and verify test results; monitor reporting accuracy and maintain turnaround times.Evaluate and release results of routine and complex analyses. Address and document critical or unexpected results.Conduct preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and calibration of lab equipment.Perform and evaluate instrument checks, linearity, accuracy, and precision testing.Run Quality Control and calibrations; assess results for compliance before releasing data.Select/evaluate control materials, initiate corrective actions as necessary.Accurately participate in and document proficiency testing.Detect and resolve technical and operational issues, escalating to supervisors or field support as needed.Maintain accurate labeling and tracking of reagents and supplies.Keep a clean, organized, and safe work area.Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and internal/external stakeholders.Actively participate in team meetings and Quality Improvement initiatives.Undertake special projects such as evaluating new procedures, cost analysis, reference range establishment, and SOP writing.Follow company policies and safety protocols, including infection control and waste disposal.Uphold confidentiality and professional integrity at all times.Supervise and train unlicensed staff, support training programs as needed.Maintain continuing education per California state licensure requirements.Answer phones, relay messages, and perform other administrative tasks as needed.Use personal protective equipment and comply with health/safety standards.Perform additional duties as assigned.
