    About the role

    We are seeking a dedicated Materials Specialist to join our Production team. As a critical member of the department, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient flow of materials to meet production schedules. This is a full-time, hourly role where you'll collaborate with various teams to ensure materials management excellence while adhering to company standards and workflows.

    What you'll do

    Monitor and manage inventory of raw materials, components, and finished goods to ensure uninterrupted production.Coordinate with internal teams to ensure on-time delivery of materials.Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies as needed.Maintain accurate records of materials transactions in the company's inventory management system.Analyze production schedules and forecasts to anticipate material needs.Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements during material handling.Collaborate with the Production team to solve material-related issues and optimize workflows.

    Qualifications

    High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in supply chain or materials management are a plus.Previous experience in a similar role within a production or manufacturing environment.Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.Familiarity with inventory management systems and basic supply chain principles.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word), with experience in ERP/MRP systems being an advantageAbility to lift up to 75 pounds
