    Job Description

    This role oversees daily chassis dynamometer operations in a clean lab environment, ensuring accurate emissions testing and data collection on multiple vehicles per shift. The technician drives vehicles on the chassis dyno, sets up exhaust equipment for emissions capture, and operates test systems safely and efficiently. The position offers long-term, open-ended work with growing demand and a strong opportunity to build a career within a major automotive environment.

    Responsibilities

    Operate the chassis dynamometer safely and consistently for 4–5 vehicles per shift, including physically driving the vehicles during tests.Set up each test by attaching exhaust collection equipment to vehicles to capture emissions for data collection and analysis.Perform emissions testing on vehicles using the chassis dyno and related test systems, ensuring adherence to established procedures and safety standards.Monitor test runs in real time, identify anomalies, and troubleshoot issues related to the dyno, test equipment, and vehicle systems.Support instrumentation setup and calibration activities to ensure accurate measurement and reliable test results.Collect, organize, and document test data, and support data analysis to validate test outcomes and identify potential issues.Apply strong diagnostic skills to test system instrumentation and vehicle diagnostics, resolving problems quickly to minimize downtime.Collaborate closely with other test technicians and team members to coordinate schedules, share findings, and maintain smooth lab operations.Communicate test status, issues, and results clearly through technical writing, reports, and presentations as needed.Maintain a high level of organization in the lab, including proper handling of tools, equipment, and test vehicles.Follow all lab safety procedures and guidelines while working with vehicles, dynos, and emissions equipment.Adapt to changing test requirements and priorities, handling multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced test environment.

    Work Environment

    The role is based in a clean lab setting focused on chassis dynamometer and emissions testing. The technician works directly with chassis dynos, emissions collection systems, test instrumentation, and diagnostic tools in a structured, process-driven environment. New hires typically train on 1st shift (around 7:00 am–3:30 pm) for 4–6 weeks before transitioning to the 3rd shift 11:00 pm–7:30 am. The environment emphasizes safety, cleanliness, and precision, with a collaborative team culture and the opportunity to support a growing volume of test work over the coming year and beyond.

    Job Description

    This role focuses on assembling and installing electrical and mechanical components in a high-quality automotive manufacturing environment. You will work with a variety of power and hand tools to install circuit modules, relays, wiring harnesses, and other components into assemblies and chassis units for electronic and electromechanical products.

    Responsibilities

    Install components, circuit modules, relays, and wiring harnesses into a variety of assemblies and chassis units for electronic and electromechanical products used in ambulances.Fit and assemble a wide range of detail parts and assemblies to meet production specifications and quality standards.Cut openings in vehicle bodies to accommodate wiring, components, and other assemblies in accordance with blueprints and work instructions.Use power tools such as drills and other equipment to perform precise cutting, drilling, and fitting tasks.Use hand tools, including wire cutters and crimpers, to prepare, route, and secure wiring and harnesses.Interpret and follow blueprints, diagrams, and production drawings to complete installations accurately and efficiently.Perform mechanical assembly tasks as part of the overall vehicle build process in an automotive manufacturing environment.Support preventive maintenance activities related to tools, equipment, and workstations as needed.Work as part of a production team to meet daily and weekly output goals while maintaining quality and safety standards.Follow all safety procedures and guidelines while operating tools and performing installations.

    Essential Skills

    Experience with manufacturing and production assembly in an industrial or automotive environment.Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and production drawings.Proficiency using power tools, including drills and related equipment, for cutting, drilling, and fitting tasks.Proficiency using hand tools such as wire cutters, crimpers, and other basic mechanical tools.Mechanical assembly skills with attention to detail and quality.Experience with wiring harness installation and basic electrical assembly work.Strong tenure and demonstrated reliability in previous roles.Ability to work effectively in a production environment and meet output and quality standards.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    Automotive knowledge or experience, such as automotive repair or related work, is preferred.Experience with preventive maintenance activities is a plus.Bilingual Spanish skills are beneficial for communication in a diverse production team.
