    Job Description

    This Warehouse Worker role supports daily operations in an ink manufacturing facility by receiving, storing, moving, and shipping raw materials and finished ink products. You will work closely with production, quality, and shipping teams to keep materials flowing efficiently while following strict safety and environmental procedures in an environment that includes pigments, solvents, and other chemical-based materials.

    Responsibilities

    Receive, inspect, and verify incoming raw materials including pigments, resins, solvents, and packaging supplies.Accurately pick, stage, and prepare ink products and materials for production or shipment.Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks, sit-down forklifts, drum handlers, and other MHE when certified.Label, package, and document finished ink products according to company and customer specifications.Maintain inventory accuracy using warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP systems, or manual logs.Follow all safety, personal protective equipment (PPE), and environmental procedures related to chemical handling and storage.Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant warehouse and storage area, including general cleaning and janitorial tasks as needed.Assist with cycle counts, inventory audits, and material reconciliations to ensure accurate stock levels.Work closely with production, quality, and shipping teams to meet production and shipping deadlines.Properly handle waste materials and assist with spill response in accordance with environmental, health, and safety (EHS) guidelines.Prepare waste ink for shipment by re-palletizing waste drums, obliterating old labels, applying new labels, and ensuring drums and buckets are clean.Utilize banding equipment to secure drums and pallets safely for storage and transport.Perform general production and packing tasks, including loading, unloading, and material handling as assigned.Use RF scanners and other warehouse tools to track inventory movements and transactions.Read and interpret tape measures, rulers, and basic measurements to support mechanical and packing tasks.

    Essential Skills

    This role supports the Operations Maintenance team by installing, maintaining, and repairing automated packaging, distribution, and material handling equipment within a high-volume facility at one of the largest companies in the United States.

    Responsibilities

    Perform preventative maintenance routines on material handling equipment and conveyer systems.Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues on material handling equipment, including belts, motors, photo-eyes, relays, and related components.Install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment, including conveyor systems and associated controls.Read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics to support installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting activities.Support pneumatic systems throughout the building by inspecting, maintaining, and repairing components as needed.

    Essential Skills

    2 years of Industrial Maintenance experience (preferred conveyor maintenance experience).At least 1 year of experience reading blueprints and electrical schematics.At least 1 year of knowledge and hands-on experience with electrical and electronic principles.Ability to lift up to 49–50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks such as kneeling, squatting, climbing steps or ladders, and reaching above the head.Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, including shifts lasting up to 12 hours, with or without reasonable accommodation.
