    Job DescriptionJob DescriptionDescription:DescriptionSUMMARY inventories, stores, and distributes hand tools and other equipment.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following for associates. Other duties may be assigned.
    Requirements:RequirementsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. All other duties as assigned. Able to repair in-house tools ex. Electric tools, Hydraulic tools, Air / Pneumatic tools and some welding machines. Maintains tool functionality, calibration specifications, and safe condition by performing frequent inspections of tools and equipment for wear, defects, or damage. Keeps an inventory of tools by tracking the distribution of tools and users in a database or other system. Request new tools and equipment or request repairs as needed by an outside vendor. Self-motivated and Organized** Keeps equipment and work area clean and orderly are a must **Has training and experience in an industrial environment with familiarity of fabrication and tools. Minimum of three years of tool repair. Ability to work in a team environment successfully. Must perform tasks safely as instructed orally and in written format. Ability to read and speak English. Must have knowledge of the metric system. Ability to maneuver up to 200 lbs. independently. Ability to safely lift 50 lbs. without assistance. Ability to read measuring tape and calipers.
    EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCEHigh school diploma or GED required; three years related experience.TRAVELN/ALANGUAGE SKILLSAbility to read, write and understand oral and written instructions, information gathered from meters, dials, calibrated scales, visual display units. Ability to receive and understand instructions. via radio or phone. Ability to summarize verbal instructions.MATHEMATICAL SKILLSAbility to perform basic math calculations and analyze written basic numerical information; use a ruler, scales and other physical measuring instruments.REASONING ABILITYAbility to follow instructions, in a logical order, given in oral, written, or diagram form. Ability to apply quality standards against product and determine if defective and degree of defect. Ability to compile gathered information. Ability to solve practical problems with common sense.CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONSForklift CertificationPHYSICAL DEMANDSThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to talk or hear. The associate is frequently required to stand, walk and sit.
