    Prestigious Financial Institution is currently seeking a Cloud Security Testing Engineer with AWS experience. Candidate is responsible for security testing and managing day to day engineering tasks. This position is a senior engineering position that requires the ability to complete highly technical testing and provide informational updates to leadership and executive staff.

    Responsibilities:
    Perform cloud assessments, web application penetration testing, mobile application testing, network and operating system assessments
    Perform independent reviews of security, network, applications, and cloud environments
    Produce reports and artifacts for various levels of leadership and staff relating to security related activities
    Ensure alignment of security controls as part of the Blue Team testing program and supporting services and related policies and procedures with applicable regulations and industry standard best practices
    Assist management with the improvement of policy and procedure to support Security Testing and Blue Team activities as well as other security duties which may arise
    Participate in developing security road-map, adopt security best practices, and implement new ideas and innovations according to the industry trends
    Continue to support, grow, and assist development current processes and tools
    Qualifications:
    Requires an in-depth knowledge of security controls and standards in relation to Cloud Security, Architecture, DevOps, and Security Testing.
    Ability to manage multiple intricate projects with strict deadlines while maintaining best in class work.
    Ability to functionally serve as a primary point of contact across multiple teams within the organization and to lead projects for the entirety of the life cycle.
    Experience with AWS Services including automation services (Lambda, JSON, etc )
    Experience with DevOps Pipelines and GitHub Repos
    Architectural understanding and expertise of cloud and hybrid cloud infrastructure
    Education and/or Experience:
    Five years Experience with Security Engineering activities and testing.
    Three years of experience with DevOps processes

    In this role, you will be responsible for the Card CTO & Premium Products, Marketing, and Experiences (PPMX) Tech team. This team delivers experiences for both our customers and our associates across Card Tech. The four Horizontals represented by CTO and three Verticals represented by PPMX focus on creating real-time, intelligent experiences for our customers. We maintain a well-managed tech foundation while driving transformative enterprise solutions rooted in data analytics and machine learning. We provide the customer a seamless digital and marketing experience. We engineer the future of Card.

    What You'll Do:
    Partner with Software Engineers, UX/UI, Product Owners/Analysts to deliver high performing quality customer experiences that are engaging, purposeful and powerful in their simplicity
    Develop Android client code solutions that deliver on Product Strategy and adhere to established engineering best practices, design guidelines and principles
    Actively participate in all team Agile ceremonies, contributing to ensure that all team commitments are delivered on time and of the highest quality
    Be an active advocate of the mobile platform through both internal and external developer communities
    Remain an active learner in all technologies related to mobile development (Kotlin, Swift, 3rd party libraries, etc.)
    Influence and contribute to group discussions and incorporate feedback/communication from the broader team
    Mentor junior to senior-level members of the team
    Actively engage with developers outside of the local sprint team across various disciplines (Android, iOS, APIs, Web, etc.)
    Own and lead delivery of major components and platform needs in partnership with senior engineers and Architects
    Consistently share best practices and improve processes within and across sprint teams
    Identify technical obstacles early and work closely with the team to find creative solutions
    Review pull requests and ensure adherence language idioms
    Grow and provide SME level leadership while managing a team of mobile developers

    Basic Qualifications:
    Bachelor's Degree
    At least 8 years of professional software engineering experience (Internship experience does not apply)
    At least 4 years of people management experience
    At least 4 years of experience building Android or iOS applications
    At least 3 years of experience with Kotlin or Swift
    Preferred Qualifications:
    Masters degree
    2+ years of experience with Agile practices

    The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
    Location is New York City: $222,589 - $262,605 for Sr. Mgr, Software Engineering
    Location is San Francisco, California: $235,806 - $278,198 for Sr. Mgr, Software Engineering
    Remote roles in other areas of New York & California, and across Colorado & Washington: $188,636 - $222,548 for Sr. Mgr, Software Engineering
    Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate's offer letter.
    This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
