Job Description
The Data Engineer will serve as a foundational member of a rapidly growing AI and Data practice, responsible for building trusted, structured, and analytics-ready datasets that power dashboards and AI-enabled decision support. The initial assignment supports the Navy Portfolio Acquisition Executive (PAE) mission, leading mission and Industrial Base data enablement efforts. Over time, this role will expand to support dashboarding, analytics, and AI capabilities across the broader AI and Data practice.
This position focuses first on data readiness and reliability—turning fragmented, program-level data into trusted, structured, and tool-ready assets—while offering a clear path to grow into higher-order analytics and AI work. The Data Engineer acts as a trusted Technical Consultant, partnering directly with customers and leading ASI’s data engineering efforts across a range of projects.
Project Overview- Navy PAE
As a DOW, agency wide initiative, The U.S. Navy is modernizing its acquisition enterprise by transitioning from traditional Program Executive Offices (PEOs) to a new, integrated Portfolio Acquisition Executive (PAE) structure. ASI is a key partner in the new DOW Transformation.
