    POSITION SUMMARY

    Impact Housing is seeking a dependable and safety-conscious Material Handler I to support our manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for receiving, storing, transporting, and replenishing materials to ensure uninterrupted production. The Material Handler I safely operates forklifts and other material handling equipment, maintains inventory accuracy, and supports warehouse organization while following all safety and quality standards.

    This is an excellent opportunity for someone with warehouse or manufacturing experience who is looking to grow within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against purchase orders and shipping documents. Safely transport raw materials, supplies, and finished products throughout the facility using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment. Store materials in designated warehouse locations and maintain accurate inventory records. Perform inventory transactions in the ERP system (NetSuite preferred). Replenish production materials to support manufacturing schedules. Return unused materials to inventory and maintain proper material traceability. Maintain FIFO (First In, First Out) inventory practices. Assist with cycle counts and inventory accuracy initiatives. Prepare and maintain receiving, shipping, and inventory documentation. Review shipments for quality, quantity, and accuracy, reporting discrepancies as needed. Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse, including proper disposal of scrap materials and adherence to 5S standards. Communicate with internal departments to support production needs and resolve material issues. Perform other duties as assigned.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    Experience

    1-2 years of warehouse and/or material handling experience. Minimum 1 year of recent sit-down forklift experience required. Experience with WMS or ERP systems (NetSuite preferred) is a plus.
