    Duties

    Responsibilities Include

    2. Keep all warehouse loading and unloading areas and grounds clean. Fills racks, pick lines and all pick locations. Pushes/pulls pallets and loads and unloads appropriate company products.

    3. Must be able to use and understand RF guns and functions of Location Based Inventory.

    4. Unload inbound freight and outbound freight.

    5. Ensure loads are done accurately and neatly.

    6. Sweep, mop, and restock pick area, keeping work area clean.

    7. Replenishment of all pick locations and areas.

    8. Responsible for assisting in all functions of warehouse maintenance.

    9. Restock and rework returned beer.

    10. Visually inspect all cases unloaded to ensure they are in saleable condition.

    11. Be aware of code dates and load the oldest product first.

    13. Upon completion of the unloading of each truck give the receiving report to the Warehouse Manager for verification.

    14. Prior to the end of your shift each day ensure all empty pallets are removed from the pick area and properly stored.

    16. Must be able to obtain forklift certification through the company.

    17. Maintain open and clear communications with the owners, managers, and other employees of the company.

    19. Obtain from the Warehouse Manager approval prior to working in excess of your regular schedule.

    20. Dress in uniform and maintain your personal appearance in a professional manner and according to company policy.

    21. Conduct all your activities within the guidelines of all company policies and procedures.

    22. Conduct all of your activities in accordance to the local, state and federal liquor control regulations.

    23. Perform all work activities in accordance to the safe work practices, policies and procedures.

    25. Help second and third shift with the loading of carts/pallet trucks as needed.

    26. Adapt to any new responsibilities required by the Warehouse Manager or Operations Manager.

Acts as additional resource in helping other shop personnel in lifting or operating fork trucks. 

    The hours for this role are typically 7:00 am - 3:30 pm Monday - Friday with overtime available.

    Handles the daily work and safety of Inbound and Outbound Warehouse managers, supervisors and other associates.Manages labor hours and consumable supplies within budget and work schedules including extra work days and shifts as needed.Supervises the proper selection, purchase, and utilization of Company assets in support of warehouse operations.Coordinates with other departments as necessary to ensure upgrades and repairs are completed efficiently and effectively.Develops business relationships to ensure communication and efficient operations with third-party vendors, including but not limited to lumping services.Maintains current certificate of insurance and hold harmless agreements for all contracted vendors.Reviews the management of shipping and loading audits daily ensuring all required documentation is accurately completed (including Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP), food safety, and catch-weight documentation) and that material is handled and stored correctly with a minimum potential for loss.Prepares budget, profit plans, and capital requests as required.Evaluates metrics and adjusts activities to meet or exceed performance expectations.Suggests efficiency ideas, cost reduction measures and assists with the implementation of changes within inbound and outbound warehouse operations.Identifies problems, proposes solutions to other members of management and promotes cooperation with other departments.Ensures the use and updating of receiving, selection and loading software systems.Preserves associate relations through regular department or pre-shift meetings.Maintains on-going interaction.Keeps open communication channels with associates by answering questions and explaining policies and procedures.Monitors associate morale.Submits and responds to ideas to improve associate engagement and enablement.Interprets trains and consistently enforces Company policies and procedures.Coordinates efforts with the Safety department to aid in training, conducting associate observations, up-dating preferred work methods, conducting accident investigations to determine root causes and routine safety inspections.Makes recommendations for disciplinary action and/or behavior modification where required.Executes management functions of staff selection, development, discipline, performance reviews and/or terminations.Performs the duties of associates supervised and other related duties as needed.Complies with local, state and federal regulatory agencies (i.e. OSHA, AIB, FDA, USDA, etc.)

    QUALIFICATIONS

    Education

    Bachelor's degree required or equivalent combination of education and related experience.

    Experience

    7 years of related experience and/or training.

    Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations

    Obtain a Powered Industrial Equipment Certification from Sysco within 3 months.

    What involved in this role:

    Utilize forklift truck and pallet jack to load and unload product shipments as well as delivery supplies.Report any issues with equipment to manager or supervisor.Understand and comply with all Quality Assurance policies, and immediately report any potential food safety issues to management.Prepare, stage, load and unload trucks and containers safely and accurately.Match incoming raw and finished ingredient to the bill of lading.Match bills of lading to paper work, container numbers, and seal trucks on outgoing product.Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards.Pick and stage orders to be shipped.Maintain department sanitation duties per sanitation schedule.Conduct inventories as needed.Keep work area clean and organized.Inspect and perform maintenance on forklifts and other material handling equipment.Operate production equipment including robots, palletizers, and conveyor systems.     What you need to join our team:
