    Position Summary

    The ARMHS staff provide adult rehabilitative mental health services that instruct, assist, and support the recipient in basic living and social skills to individuals with serious mental illnesses or serious and persistent mental illnesses. These activities are to help restore a recipient's skills for managing their illness and everyday independent living. The service areas would include: interpersonal communication skills, community resource utilization and integration skills, crisis assistance, relapse prevention skills, health care directives, budgeting and shopping skills, healthy lifestyle skills and practices, cooking and nutrition skills, transportation skills, medication education and monitoring, mental illness symptom management skills, household management skills, employment-related skills, and transition to community living services. It is collaborative in nature and requires working closely with Community Services, Court Services, private providers, outside resources, and programs at Canvas Health. Requires the ability to drive to individuals' homes or in the community when needed.

    This position will primarily be serving individuals in Ramsey and Washington counties.

As an MD with Integrated Wound Care, you will play an instrumental role in making a positive impact on the lives of our patients.

    ResponsibilitiesConduct wound assessments and provide personalized treatment plans for patientsWork collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient careComplete documentation accurately and in a timely mannerEducate patients and their families on wound care, prevention, and managementMonitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly

    Requirements

    Active license in state of employmentMinimum of 1 year of experience in wound careAbility to work independently and as part of a teamExceptional critical thinking and decision-making skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong time management and organizational abilitiesComfortable with technology and electronic medical records.
