    Role Details

    Key Responsibilities

    Payment Entry: Accurately post daily payments, rejections, and adjustments from insurance carriers (ERAs/EOBs) and patients to accounts.Reconciliation: Reconcile daily cash receipts and electronic deposits against bank statements.Discrepancy Resolution: Identify, investigate, and resolve payment discrepancies, underpayments, or misapplied funds.Batch Balancing: Close and balance payment batches daily within the billing system.Collaboration: Partner with the billing and accounts receivable teams to address outstanding payment issues.

    Qualifications

    2 years’ experience in cash posting, medical billing, accounts receivable, or data entry is preferred.Strong proficiency in data entry with a high level of mathematical accuracy.Familiarity with explanations of benefits (EOBs) and electronic remittance advices (ERAs) is a strong plus.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and specialized billing or EHR software.Excellent organizational skills and the ability to meet daily deadlines
