    General summary: Under the supervision of a ranking officer, responds to emergency fire service request as part of a firefighting company. Carries out a variety of tasks relating to setting up firefighting apparatus, controlling fires and life saving using defined procedures and practices. Performs routine maintenance and cleaning of fire equipment and physical facilities of the fire station incident. Representative Duties: (Examples provided describe characteristic duties of comparable levels and are not intended to describe in detail all specific duties performed by this position) Public Safety Specific: Performs: - emergency duties as required at technical rescue incidents including, but not limited to; confined space, extrications/entrapment, high angle/rope, and water/ice rescues. - emergency duties as required at hazardous materials incidents. - procedural assignments and supportive tasks such as laying and connecting hose lines, setting water pressure, readying manual equipment, operating hydrants and positioning equipment. - life saving duties by entering burning buildings to rescue trapped or confused individuals. Operates: - tools and equipment (including use of ladders) necessary to gain or force entry into buildings/areas where the normal means of access are locked, blocked, or non-existent for the purpose of rescuing trapped or endangered occupants, fire fighting, or other related operations. - Fire apparatus and equipment, making manual adjustments as needed to pumpers, pressure controls and so forth. - Emergency medical equipment, providing immediate treatment to alleviate symptoms or suffering, checks vital signs and stabilizes emergency patients prior to reaching a medical facility. Responds to: - notification of fires or other emergencies and promptly drives or serves as crew member on fire apparatus, traveling to fire scene or requested service area. - Calls for emergency medical assistance as Medical First Responder. - Maintains radio contact during calls with medical facilities, receiving guidance and direction. Participates in: - daily work schedules and assignments as directed. - post fire cleanup, shutting down hydrants, returning equipment to apparatus and securing equipment. - Variety of fire prevention and fire safety activities, conducting public demonstrations, presentation and talks to schools and other interested groups during station tours. - Outside formal training sessions and in-house training, involving the methods, techniques and procedures used in fire-fighting and emergency medical assistance.     Schedule: Monday - Friday

    Responsibilities:
    (include, but are not limited to)

    Accept rental payments and post rent to YARDI
    Primarily leasing for the property as well as providing assistance to the leasing offices
    Maintain accurate monthly commission sheets for bonus payments
    Assume the Property Manager's duties in the absence of the Property Manager
    Tour the property and target apartments/model
    Process applications for approval. Informs Property Manager of qualified/unqualified applicants. Follows-up with applicants regarding application status
    Type up leases and complete all necessary paperwork accurately and in a timely manner
    Confirm that the apartment is ready for the resident to move in on the move in date
    Orient new residents to the community
    Assist in monitoring renewals. Distributes and follows-up on renewal notices
    Answer questions for residents about the community, work orders, rent, rules, etc.
    Ensure all work orders are handled satisfactorily
    Assist with enforcing policies and rules of the community

    Minimum Qualifications:

    3+ years of experience in property management preferred
    1-2 years in an Assistant Property Manager role preferred
    High school diploma or equivalent, some college-level education preferred
    YARDI experience required
    Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations
    Computer proficiency, including MS Office: Word, Excel, and Outlook

    Physical Demands: The job is periodically sedentary, but requires mobility (i.e. climbing stairs or squatting) to tour
    and inspect apartments/communities. Involves sitting, walking, or standing for prolonged
    periods of time and stooping for brief periods of time. There is some repetitive motion of the
    hands and wrists associated with using a computer.

    HELLO, WE'RE COMMUNITY LIVING CASE MANAGEMENT

    We support children, adults, and their families to access both in-home and community services. Once determined eligible, we utilize a Person-Centered approach addressing the health and safety needs for the individuals and families being served. We assist individuals and families to identify natural and community supports, potential supports in their own homes, and potential Medicaid-funded supports in the community. We encourage self-determination and offer a supported decision-making process for adults seeking services. Families with children seeking services will receive information on supports available within their communities.

    As a Service Coordinator at Community Living Case Management in The Dalles, you will play a vital role in managing and facilitating access to essential supportive services within the community. Your responsibilities will include providing comprehensive case management services tailored to individual needs, ensuring that all clients receive the support they require.     To succeed as a Service Coordinator at Community Living Case Management, you will need strong communication and interpersonal skills, particularly proficiency in both English and Spanish, to effectively connect with a diverse range of clients and their families. Problem-solving abilities are crucial as you navigate complex situations and develop tailored solutions for individuals with Intellectual and/or Developmental Disabilities. Familiarity with community resources and supportive services will help you provide the best case management and program development opportunities to the clients you support.

    Additionally, being empathetic and culturally aware will enable you to build trust within the community. A proactive approach, combined with organizational skills, will ensure that you manage multiple cases efficiently while consistently delivering high-quality support.
