    Job Description

    Join our team as a Housekeeping Utility Worker, responsible for cleaning building areas, floors, and surfaces, setting up rooms for events, and removing trash. No travel required. Be part of a dedicated team committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

    Compensation: $19.00 - $21.00

    How you will make an impact

    Maintain cleanliness of the community through the operation of specialized equipmentEnsure proper handling and disposal of wasteUtilize work orders to ensure proper room/furniture setupsAssist with movement and delivery of heavy objects/packagesRemove trash including, refuse and recyclingMaintain hard floor surfaces, including scrubbing, mopping, burnishing, stripping, and waxing as well as carpeted surfaces, including extracting, interim cleaning, spotting, drying, and vacuuming

    What you will need

    Previous experience in carpet care and floor finishing techniques is preferredAbility to safely operate carpet care equipment, hard floor care equipment, trash removal equipment, and any other equipment necessary for the cleanliness of the communityAbility to work independently and as a contributing team memberMay be required to maintain a valid driver's license as a condition of employment.Must have a history of safe driving as noted through a Motor Vehicle Record check, if driving is required

    Compensation:

    Provide physical assistance with activities of daily livingPromote psychosocial well-being through meaningful relationshipsPlan and facilitate social activities for the neighborhood residentsAssist with menu/snack selection and partners with the Service Associate in serving to ensure adequate nutritional intake of all residents and provide in-room dining experiences where requestedAssure the resident's room and neighborhood are kept tidy to minimize environmental hazards which may impact environmental safety

    What you will need

    Must have a minimum of 6 months of caregiving or CNA experience Current CPR certification is preferred (CPR certification required within 90 days of hire) Complete a Safe Food Handling and Preparation Class (within 30 days of hire)
