Key Responsibilities:

Responsibilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Mechanical Design and Analysis - Perform activities related to vibration, modal, deflection, fatigue crack growth, burst, HCF, LCF, thermal and stack analysis in support of finite element analysis (FEA) tasks
• Support testing of components and engine modules in various lifecycle stages (rig, development, production) and perform data reduction/analysis on test data
• Generate accompanying documentation capturing results and findings following design, simulation, analysis and test activities
• Develop and present engineering artifacts during structured design reviews
• Interpret engineering drawings via geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)
• Contribute to technical mentoring, process/tool improvement and knowledge capture

Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics2 or more years of experience in Design, simulation, analysis or test experience in turbomachinery or related field, w/ ANSYS software suite experience or comparable software experienceStrong knowledge of mechanical design principles and methodologiesANSYS Mechanical FEA or equivalent experience required
