RN Navigator Full Time Days Position Summary The RN Navigator enhances the patient experience by interfacing with various patient care teams and assists to provide comprehensive care to patients who are in need of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, and those newly diagnosed with medical conditions requiring treatment/follow-up.     A well-known hospital system is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join their Radiology Diagnostic team. Under the direction of Departmental Radiologists, the Nuclear Medicine Technologist will be responsible for performing radiographic examinations.About the Opportunity:Assignment Legnth: 13-week contractSchedule: Monday to Friday (alternating weekends)Hours: 8am to 4:30pmSetting:Acute CareResponsibilities:Greet the patient, explain to them the examination they are about to undergo, position the patient, set the proper exposure factors in order to obtain the required quality radiographProvide radiologic examinations based on referring Physician and Radiologist needsPractice appropriate radiation safety and protection to assure that patients do not undergo undue radiation exposure.Obtain quality studies and to report any malfunctions with equipment to immediate supervisor.Process films and input information into the Radiology Information System for documentation and billing purposesPerform other duties, as neededQualifications:1+ year Nuclear Medicine Technology experience in an Acute Care settingNuclear Med Tech Cert through ARRT or NMTCBA valid license as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist issued by the NYSDOH required Read Less
