Essential Functions: Cleaning and maintaining all interior and exterior areas of the warehouse. Servicing, cleaning, sanitizing, and restocking restrooms. Gathering and emptying trash in all designated areas. Maintaining cleanliness in common areas such as hallways, lobbies, and break rooms. Cleaning building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming. Dusting and wiping down surfaces, including desks, tables, glass, and windowsills. Some deep cleaning, as needed. Performing dump runs as needed. Assisting with weather-related maintenance and cleanup, such as applying de-icing materials, shoveling snow, or other post-storm debris. Maintaining areas around dumpsters, CPU, shop, the ponds, and receiving. Monitoring areas around all off sites and parking lots for trash or debris and sweep as necessary. Notifying management of the need for repairs or additions to building systems. Ordering cleaning supplies as needed. Following procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment in order to prevent damage. Adhering to all safety, security, compliance, and quality standards set by the company, clients, and regulatory authorities. Performing other job-related duties as assigned. Requirements: Prior housekeeping experience in commercial or warehouse setting is preferred. High school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Ability to work nights and weekends as necessary. Ability to multitask. Ability to work as part of a team and interact effectively with others. Ability to work independently and be a self-starter. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a high level of cleanliness. Walking in and around the facility with great frequency throughout the entire shift. Communicate effectively in reading, writing, and speaking in the English language. Must be able to stand and/or walk for long periods of time and maneuver effectively around warehouse and property. Must be able to bend, kneel, squat, reach, and/or twist frequently. Must be able to push, lift, and carry weights 20 to 50 pounds. The physical demands of this position are considered MEDIUM. Exerting 20 to 50 lbs. of force occasionally and/or 10 to 25 lbs. of force frequently and or greater than negligible up to 10 lbs. of force constantly to move objects.
