    You will contribute by: 
    - Utilizing forklifts and/or electric pallet jacks 
    - Completing inspection of trailers before loading any product 
    - Verifying loading of orders by RF handhelds and/or voice headsets

Historically, line items required to process can vary from 45-60 daily based on items procured. Likely items to be handled are tool boxes or kits, handheld tools, automotive repairs parts, office supplies, and power tools less than 10 pounds.Location Audit Process (LAP) and Inventory - Maintain high inventory accountability by conducting monthly LAP and physical inventory using IBS handheld electronic scanners over 2,500 line items of automotive repair parts (ARP) and 17,600 line items of Table of Allowance (TOA) material, either prepare a purchase or disposition request and post results via R-Supply (Relational Supply), generate automated inventory reports associated with this process in IBS and R-Supply system database.Causative Research - Perform monthly historical causative research by utilizing automated reports generated through R-SUPPLY and other available logistical sources to identify, analyze, and evaluate what the causes of inventory discrepancies are.     POSITION SUMMARY:

    The Warehouse Technician, under the direction of the Warehouse Manager, is responsible for the daily shop activities including janitorial, handling goods and materials, maintaining the cleanliness of the warehouse, and aiding inventory management

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (includes, but is not limited to, the following)

    Locate and move stock of products to pallets or crates for storage or shipment.Identify damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies.Transport materials to and from job sites and warehouse locations.Assist in organizing and maintaining items of inventory systematically.Maintain a clean and safe working environment and optimizes space utilization.Follow all safety protocols and warehouse procedures.Perform inventory controls to ensure accuracy.Coordinate with the Warehouse Manager and other team members to accomplish the work required to maintain the warehouse.Unload and load stock, materials, tools, etc., and distributes them to the appropriate areasAssist in performing inventory cycle counts.Maintain work area by performing light janitorial work such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and cleaning of spills.Maintain tool and equipment logs.Secure yards and buildings at closing time.Collect and disposes of debris, metals, and other items requiring disposal.Maintain driveways, walkways, doorways, and handicap ramps in the summer and winter.     PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

    REQUIREMENTS:

    Experience: Minimum of two years of general warehousing, inventory control, shipping and receiving of goods, maintenance, construction, or warehouse-specific field required; four years preferred. Advanced training or certification in warehouse or construction management preferred.

    Certification/License: Must obtain a Chauffeur’s License within 90 days of employment. Must have a valid driver’s license and be insurable by the Sault Tribe Insurance Department. Must comply with annual driver’s license review and insurability standards with the Sault Tribe Insurance Department. Must comply with the Sault Tribe’s Drug-Free Workplace Policy which may include random drug tests.

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Knowledge of building and maintenance products. Knowledge of hand and power tools and equipment.  Must have working knowledge and be able to use word processing and spreadsheet and database software. Must be able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Must have excellent organization skills; organizing work, prioritizing tasks, and managing time. Must be able to work extended hours when needed.  Must be flexible and available to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Must establish and maintain an effective working relationship with supervisory personnel, coworkers, and the general public. Must have basic math skills.     9. Restock and rework returned beer.

    10. Visually inspect all cases unloaded to ensure they are in saleable condition.
