Essential Job Functions:

Listed are the essential duties and responsibilities that are required of this position. This section includes the primary accountabilities or duties of the job. The incumbent must be able to perform all the following duties and responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodation:

Provide excellent patient care by performing physical examinations, diagnosing and treating diseases, and providing preventive care according to patient signalment, lifestyle, and  environment.

Utilize a problem-based approach that includes developing a complete problem list for every patient examined, a complete list of differential diagnoses for each problem identified, a complete diagnostic plan, and appropriate treatments based on interpretation of diagnostic test results leading to confirmed or suspected diagnoses.

Document all patient observations, findings of exams and diagnostics, treatments and medications, client interactions, and tentative and confirmed diagnoses in the medical record in a concise and detail fashion, according to practice convention.

Perform routine and complex surgical procedures including (but not limited) spays/neuters, abdominal exploratory, and mass removals.

Perform routine and complex dental procedures including full dental examination, evaluation of dental radiographs, as well as simple and complex extractions and oral surgical procedures.

Develop treatment plans for patients undergoing day hospitalization based on complete problem-based assessment. Transition patients to overnight care as needed and communicate effectively with referral hospitals to ensure continuity of patient care.

Other Duties and Responsibilities

Participate in rounds as incoming or exiting doctor at beginning and end of shifts.

Disseminate knowledge throughout staff to improve the level of care and communication provided hospital partners, to both the patient and the client.

Performs additional duties as assigned.

Nature of Supervision:

In all activities related to the care of individual patients, the Veterinarian will take direct supervision from the Hospital Medical Leader or Area Medical Director. The Veterinarian has discretion related to decisions regarding patient care, however, it is imperative that the Veterinarian uphold the standards set forth in the Petco Veterinary SOPs. The Veterinarian should expect to receive direction and guidance based on electronic medical record review from the Hospital Medical Leader or Area Medical Director regarding patient decisions and should accept such feedback as a means to elevate patient care in the hospital.

All hospital veterinarians should work together in a collegial fashion and are expected to behave in a professional and personable manner.

Planning and Problem Solving:

Problem solving is at the heart of veterinary medicine, and it is expected that any successful candidate will possess excellent problem-solving skills that allow expeditious diagnosis of patient problems.

Impact:

This position will impact the organization by contributing to the growth of a productive practice while focusing on a high-quality standard of care. From an overall hospital organizational standpoint, this position is critical to ensuring that we have a cohesive, well-trained, and motivated team. The desired result is the creation of an optimal environment that ensures employee retention, patient well-being, and customer satisfaction.

Supervisory Responsibility:

This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities, however, as stated above the Veterinarian is a de facto leader in the hospital.

Education/Experience

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree or equivalent from an AVMA-accredited veterinary school.

Active licensure as a veterinarian without contingencies in the state in which the hospital is located or ability to obtain by start date.

Current DEA license.

Current Controlled Substance License, if applicable, in state in which the hospital is located or ability to obtain by start date.

USDA Category I (minimum) Accreditation or completion within two months of hire date.

Must be comfortable performing anesthesia and routine surgeries including but not limited to: canine and feline spays, neuters, mass removals, and dentals.

Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Must be compassionate and sympathetic, and be able to maintain a professional attitude and demeanor during emotional and stressful situations.

Must have telephone and computer skills.

Must be a team player willing to learn new techniques and treatments, offer creative ideas, and accept change.

Work Environment:

The majority of job duties are conducted in the Vetco Total Care veterinary full-service hospital. Position requires bending, kneeling, lifting (up to 30 pounds, as necessary), and standing for long periods of time. A large amount of this partner’s time will be spent in direct contact with clients and their pets.

What you'll do:

Provide care for acute medical concerns as well as offering same-day and next-day access to patients with time-sensitive needs–without having your own patient panel Work flexible hours, including evenings (after 5 p.m.) and weekends, as our clinics operate 7 days a week from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. 365 days per year Address a broad range of concerns such as chest pain, shortness of breath, abdominal pain, headaches, URIs, UTIs, STI testing/treatment, laceration repair, I&Ds, wound care, musculoskeletal injuries, short-term medication refills, acute mental health triage, and time-sensitive post-hospital follow-ups; Successful applicants will be comfortable with initial management of acute changes in chronic conditions Stay up to date on evidence-based urgent care practices and maintain working knowledge of common primary care issues (e.g., hypertension, diabetes, depression/anxiety) Complete thorough documentation for all patient encounters including procedures

About This Role:

Crusoe Cloud is one of the fastest-scaling AI infrastructure platforms in the world, and the global supply chain behind our compute fleet (GPU and CPU servers, accelerators, and their underlying components) is the foundation of that growth. We are looking for a Global Supply Chain Manager, Compute to own end-to-end supply for Crusoe's compute category: managing OEM and ODM partnerships, securing NVIDIA and AMD accelerator allocation, navigating long-lead component constraints, and ensuring continuity of supply as we deploy across multiple data centers globally.

This is a senior individual contributor role and a single-threaded leader for Compute supply, reporting to the Senior Strategic Sourcing Manager, Compute, and partnering closely with NPI, deployment, finance, and engineering leadership. This is a full-time position with flexibility to be based in San Francisco (CA) or Seattle (WA).

What You'll Be Working On:

Global Compute Supply Strategy: Develop and execute global supply strategies for GPU servers, CPU servers, and their critical components (accelerators, CPUs, memory, NICs, optics) across all Crusoe data centers.

Accelerator Allocation Management: Own NVIDIA and AMD accelerator allocation strategy, including engagement with allocation teams, demand forecasting, and prioritization across deployment programs.

OEM and ODM Partnerships: Manage strategic relationships with HPE, Dell, Supermicro, and major ODMs (Quanta, Wiwynn, Foxconn, Inventec, Hon Hai), including capacity planning, ramp readiness, and quality.

Capacity and Demand Alignment: Align supplier manufacturing capacity with Crusoe's GPU/CPU deployment forecast across multiple data centers, accounting for new product introductions and generational transitions (H100, H200, B200, GB200, and beyond).

Long-Lead Component Management: Build buffer and allocation strategies for long-lead components (accelerators, HBM, advanced packaging, optics) to protect deployment schedules during periods of constrained supply.

Supply Reliability and Lead Time Reduction: Drive lead time reduction initiatives, dual-source strategies where appropriate, and continuous improvement in supplier on-time delivery.

Risk Management and Contingency: Build and maintain risk maps for the Compute supply chain (geopolitical, single-source, capacity, quality) with documented contingency plans.

Inventory and Working Capital: Manage Compute inventory positions across Crusoe data centers, including safety stock, buffer strategy, and excess and obsolescence (E&O) reduction.

Cross-Functional Leadership: Partner with NPI, Deployment, Finance, Legal, and Cloud Engineering to align supply plans with deployment commitments and capital plans.

Executive Reporting: Provide regular supply health updates, risk reports, and recommendations to procurement and engineering leadership.

What You'll Bring to the Team:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain/Logistics, International Trade, Engineering, or a related field.

Experience: 5-7 years of progressive experience in supply chain, sourcing, or procurement, preferably for data center infrastructure, cloud, or hardware supply chains.

Compute Hardware Fluency: Strong working knowledge of GPU and CPU server architectures and their BOMs (accelerators, CPUs, memory, NICs, optics, power) at a component level.

OEM/ODM Track Record: Demonstrated experience managing supply relationships with major hyperscaler OEMs (HPE, Dell, Supermicro) and/or major ODMs (Quanta, Wiwynn, Foxconn, Inventec, Hon Hai).

Capacity and Allocation: Proven experience managing manufacturing capacity alignment, allocation discussions with constrained suppliers, and Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) or equivalent buffer programs.

Cross-Functional Leadership: Track record of leading cross-functional supply chain initiatives with engineering, finance, and operations teams in a fast-paced environment.

Analytical Prowess: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, including comfort building supply models, scenario plans, and executive-ready reporting.

The base salary range for this position is $60,000 - $75,000 per year.

Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate's relevant experience, and other factors.
