Position Summary
The Senior Electrical Maintenance Mechanic is a highly skilled, hands-on technical role responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and improving complex electrical systems and electrically driven equipment across the manufacturing facility. This position serves as the electrical subject-matter expert within the maintenance team and plays a critical role in equipment uptime, safety, and long-term reliability.
This role requires advanced knowledge of industrial electrical systems (110V–480V, 3-phase), motor controls, PLC-integrated equipment, VFDs, CNC machines, and facility power distribution.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Electrical Systems (Primary Focus)
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair industrial electrical systems ranging from 110V single-phase to 480V three-phase power.Install and modify electrical drops for production equipment, CNC machines, lasers, and workstations in coordination with operations and safety.Troubleshoot motors, contactors, relays, transformers, sensors, encoders, and safety circuits.Maintain and troubleshoot VFDs, soft starters, HMIs, and PLC-controlled equipment.Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, panel layouts, and OEM manuals.Manufacturing Equipment Support
Perform advanced electrical and electro-mechanical maintenance on:CNC machines and laser cutting systemsFinishing and cleaning equipment (blasters, vibratory systems, parts washers)Air compressors, dryers, and facility utilitiesSupport machine startups, upgrades, retrofits, and relocations.Preventive & Predictive Maintenance
Develop, improve, and execute electrical Preventive Maintenance (PM) procedures.Identify failure trends and implement corrective actions to reduce downtime.Maintain accurate maintenance records, PM logs, and equipment histories.Safety, Compliance & Reliability
Ensure all work complies with OSHA, NFPA 70 (NEC), and company safety standards.Perform Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and electrical safety practices without exception.Support audits, safety inspections, and continuous improvement initiatives (5S, TPM).Leadership & Collaboration

The individual in this role will provide support for outbound operations using the queue management system. Additionally, this position will aid in the selection, verification, and packaging of orders, ensuring they meet the specific specifications and requirements of the customers.
Shift: Monday - Friday, 1:45pm to 10:15pm
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain and organize daily dock assignments.
Conduct regular hourly checks of the dock area.
Read and interpret a variety of stage plans, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), or Work Instructions (WIs).
Engage in physical activities to sort and move products effectively.
Operate material handling equipment, such as RF devices, label machines, weight scales, and pallet jacks.
Re-box and label materials, conduct weight counts for sales orders, and transfer materials to staging areas.
Perform various duties, including organizing excess items from picking.
Enter data accurately, including completing daily production sheets and other necessary transactions.
Mark and tag containers with appropriate identifying information.
Assemble product containers as required.
Pack containers and re-pack damaged ones as needed.
Install protective devices, like bracing, padding, or strapping, to prevent shifting or damage during transportation.
Participate in a collaborative work environment utilizing effective communication and willingness to cross train to enhance team productivity, versatility, and skill development.
Comply with comprehensive safety protocols and participate in ongoing training to ensure a secure work environment and maintain a safety-conscious culture.
Follow all 5S principles and guidelines daily to optimize workflow, efficiency, and a clean work environment.
Undertakes additional responsibilities and tasks as directed by management.
