    Overview:

    We are high-paced, high-energy unit specializing in Obstetrics and Mother Baby, Well Newborn Care along Post Women's Surgical unit. Within our unit we have: 40-MB rooms, 15-LDR rooms, 14-High Risk Antepartum, 8-bed OBED unit, 4-LIBC Birthing Suites, and 4-Pre Post Rooms 3-OR suites (where we circulate all of our own cases). We also have full-time Lactation Consultants who see both inpatient and outpatients. Mercy OKC is the leading delivering hospital in Oklahoma City and second leading in the Ministry. Our teams offer a comprehensive suite of services at the Love Family Women's Center.

    Nurses are expected to maintain competencies in Labor & Birth, Antepartum, and OB Emergency Department, and may be assigned to float between these departments based on patient care needs.

    Qualifications:

    Education: Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program

    Licensure: Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.
