    •Ensures safe, appropriate, cost-effective drug therapies for patients according to established policies, procedures, and protocols.
    •Monitors drug therapy regimens for contraindications, drug-drug interactions, drug-food interactions, allergies and appropriateness of drug and dose.
    •Assists with pharmacokinetics consult service and renal drug dosing per hospital protocol.
    •Reads, extracts, and interprets information in patient medical records accurately.
    •Detects and reports suspected adverse drug reactions accurately and in a timely manner.
    •Sustains the hospital drug formulary, minimizing non-formulary procurements, utilizing therapeutic substitution protocols, and promoting rational drug therapy selection.
    •Provides clinical consultation and clarification to practitioners as appropriate.
    •Provides accurate, adequate, and timely drug information to the hospital’s professional staff.
    •Provides drug education to patients and their families per institutional protocol.
    •Participates in the quality improvement and medication use review activities of the department. Collects data, conducts monitors and inspections, and maintains logs, records and other documentation as assigned.
    •Conducts designated interventions as defined in department Clinical Intervention activities (IV to PO, Renal Dosing, Pharmacokinetic dosing support, Anticoagulation). Baseline departmental standards for reporting interventions for clinical productivity as defined by departmental goals.
    •Participates in antibiotic stewardship, opioid stewardship, and shortage management activities as assigned.
    •Attends interdisciplinary rounds when assigned.

    Job DescriptionPOSITION SUMMARY: The Heavy Equipment Technician performs repairs and maintenance on heavy equipment, compact heavy equipment, light service equipment, and light trucks. Typical repairs include, but are not limited to, preventative maintenance inspections, hydraulic, fuel, exhaust, brakes, suspension, electrical, HVAC, and emission systems.

    PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:Maintains advanced knowledge to diagnose and repair mechanical problems on heavy equipment.Performs repair or preventative maintenance on electrical, diesel and gasoline vehicles, including compactor, excavator, wheel loader, and other vehicles to maximize safe and productive operations. Typical repairs and maintenance would include work on engines, transmissions, chassis, drivelines and body components, hydraulic, brake, electrical and suspension systems, wheels, tires and undercarriages.Reads and interprets equipment condition reports and/or repair orders, communicate with supervisor and/or operator for clarification of defects and discuss preventive techniques with operators to minimize future repairs.Completes paperwork associated with repairing equipment, documenting parts usage and accounting for applied times (i.e., work order times compared to time card times).Completes daily consumables report to record hours, fuel and oil usage, and provide information for input into Dossier, Republic Services Fleet Management Software system.Collects and interprets analyses from oil sampling, on-board computer, and fleet management software.Follows all safety policies and procedures.Performs overhauls on gas or diesel engines.
    QUALIFICATIONS:Advanced knowledge in air brakes, tires, hydraulics, advanced electrical, advanced drive train knowledge, suspension, steering and wheel-end components training as evidenced by ASE Certification.At least 1 year of experience as a technician working on heavy equipment.Minimum of 1 year of prior experience as a technician working on heavy equipment, demonstrating the ability to service increasingly more challenging maintenance repairs.Mechanical Trade School certificate or degreeCertificate in electrical diagnostics.Applicable ASE certifications.Working knowledge of Tier 4 emission systems.Welding and/or fabrication skills and/or experience.

    General summary/ overview statement:

    c) Identifies, plans, and implements nursing interventions. Facilitates, and evaluates outcomes of nursing care for an individual patient or group of patients

    d) Coordinates involvement of the patient, family, and health team members in patient care, including patient/family education, teaching, and discharge planning.

    e) Documents relevant patient data / information.

    f) Communicates the plan of care and other pertinent information to/from other health care team members. Promotes continuity of care through effective hand-offs.

    g) Helps define standards of excellence for patient care; participates in improvement of patient care services in a cost-effective way.

    h) Performs specific functions as described in the unit Scope of Service.

    i) Provides care appropriate to age group of patients on assigned unit(s) as described in relevant unit Scope of Service.

    j) Participates in, and contributes to, performance improvement activities.

    3) Participates in daily operational activities necessary for safe patient/staff environment.

    a) Utilizes resources efficiently to facilitate optimal patient care.

    b) Provides input to the Nursing Director/nurse leader regarding unit needs.

    c) Participates in unit and departmental committees for formulation of nursing and hospital policies and procedures.

    d) Professional Development:
    i) Maintains and updates clinical knowledge and skills based on current nursing education practices.

    ii) Adheres to Department of Nursing requirements for required training.

    iii) Identifies specific learning needs and goals and develops a plan to meet them.

    iv) Contributes to relevant committees, professional meetings, continuing educational and/or formal academic programs.

    General summary/ overview statement:
    The clinical nurse is a licensed registered nurse who is responsible for assuring competent, compassionate, individualized, nursing care for specific patients and families, including delegation to and supervision of non-professional clinical and support staff.     h) Performs specific functions as described in the unit Scope of Service.

    i) Provides care appropriate to age group of patients on assigned unit(s) as described in relevant unit Scope of Service.

    j) Participates in, and contributes to, performance improvement activities.

    k) Integrates the six aims of performance improvement into care delivery:

    (a) Safety — no needless death, injury, pain or suffering for patients or staff.
