What you'll be doing:

As a warehouse associate you may work in one of the following six areas:

In this role, you will clean and sanitize restrooms, vacuum, and remove spots from carpet, sweep and mop floors, clean and dust chairs, partition walls and other miscellaneous furniture, clean windows and brass and collect and remove trash from the warehouse while adhering to safety procedures.

What You'll Do

Audit, receive, process, pack, handle returns, and ship orders

Rotate through tasks within your department

Perform physical tasks: bending, reaching, standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs

Complete receiving/shipping documentation

Follow standard operating procedures and identify improvement opportunities

Use available resources to resolve order or inventory issues

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS • Must have a valid Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC card) • Must have a current, valid driver's license & clean driving record • Able to be insurable under our company's liability insurance policy • High school diploma or equivalent • Some warehouse experience preferred but not required • Knowledge of Local ports / terminals a plus but not required • Pleasant demeanor with other employees, customers, vendors, and local regulatory agencies • Position requires extensive lifting, walking, bending, climbing, pulling and pushing • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and push/pull heavy carts • Ability to operate a box truck and forklift • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills • Quickly adapt to changing business demands • Quickly grasp and adapt to new tasks and protocols PRIMARY DRIVER JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES • Travel to port facilities/medical facilities when necessary • Responsible for routine daily vehicle inspection prior to travel/ cleanliness and refueling of vehicles • Safely and efficiently load/unload/transport waste from local port/medical facilities to warehouse • Communicate daily with Operations Department for updates on vessel movements/attendances • Effectively communicate with international crew members • Properly fill out the required receipts / manifests PRIMARY WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: • Report for and successfully complete all training as required • Assist with various warehouse duties such as loading and unloading vehicles, properly weighing and manifesting items received/loaded out • Prepare records of receiving and production as needed • Properly load and secure materials for transport • Ensure warehouse facility is properly cleaned and free of spills/debris • Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned by management EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK • Able to work an agreed upon standard schedule (Monday - Friday - early mornings/late evenings, weekends & holidays as needed) • Additional hours as job duties demand WORK CONDITIONS PHYSICAL DEMANDS The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
