    The Position

    As a Warehouse Assistant, your primary responsibility will be to assist in the smooth and efficient operations of the warehouse. You will play a crucial role in managing inventory, organizing products, and ensuring timely order fulfillment.

    Responsibilities

    1. Receiving and Inspecting: Receive incoming shipments, inspect them for damage, and verify the accuracy of received goods against purchase orders.

    2. Inventory Management: Keep track of inventory levels, perform regular stock checks, and update the warehouse database to ensure accurate record-keeping.

    3. Order Fulfillment: Prepare orders for shipment, ensuring that items are picked, packed, and labeled correctly for timely delivery to customers or other departments.

    4. Organizing and Maintaining: Organize the warehouse to optimize space utilization and maintain cleanliness and orderliness at all times.

    5. Quality Control: Assist in conducting quality control checks to ensure products meet the required standards before shipping.

    What You Will Do:

    Major/Key AccountabilitiesAssists with supervising the work of all production employees - monitors production and shipping schedules based on availability of raw and finished goodsProvide hands-on peer leadership to production staff to support training and development, evaluate, motivate, delegate, and monitor their activitiesSupport plant administration to ensure compliance to established policies and proceduresEnforces policies and procedures to drive inventory accuracyFills in for Operations Supervisor(s) as needed
