    Position Purpose

    The TPM Operator is responsible for sorting and moving pallets safely and efficiently throughout the facility. This role involves manually sorting pallets, using hand tools to remove debris, and operating a forklift to transport pallets. Collaboration, safety, and attention to detail are essential, along with performing basic forklift maintenance tasks.

    Pallet Sorting

    Sort pallets as they are moved from loading docks to sort line/area. Removes debris and trash from pallets. Determines pallet quality.

    Material Handling & Forklift Operation:

    Operate the forklift to efficiently move pallets, containers, and materials throughout the plant facility. Moves levers and presses pedals to drive truck and control movement of lifting apparatus. Positions forks, lifting platform, or other lifting device under, over, or around loaded pallets and transports load to designated area. Conduct inspection of the forklift prior to operating, promptly reporting issues to maintenance team for resolution.

    Loading and Unloading:

    Assist in loading and unloading trucks or containers with pallets or materials using the forklift, ensuring proper placement and securement of items.

    Position Purpose

    The TPM Operator is responsible for sorting and moving pallets safely and efficiently throughout the facility. This role involves manually sorting pallets, using hand tools to remove debris, and operating a forklift to transport pallets. Collaboration, safety, and attention to detail are essential, along with performing basic forklift maintenance tasks.

    Pallet Sorting

    Sort pallets as they are moved from loading docks to sort line/area. Removes debris and trash from pallets. Determines pallet quality.

    Material Handling & Forklift Operation:

    Operate the forklift to efficiently move pallets, containers, and materials throughout the plant facility. Moves levers and presses pedals to drive truck and control movement of lifting apparatus. Positions forks, lifting platform, or other lifting device under, over, or around loaded pallets and transports load to designated area. Conduct inspection of the forklift prior to operating, promptly reporting issues to maintenance team for resolution.

    Loading and Unloading:

    Assist in loading and unloading trucks or containers with pallets or materials using the forklift, ensuring proper placement and securement of items.

    Safety and Compliance:

    Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines. Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment daily. Report any safety hazards or concerns to supervisors immediately.

    Qualifications

    Previous experience working in an industrial, fast paced environment with industrial equipment. Proven experience operating a forklift in a manufacturing or warehouse environment. Strong understanding of safety regulations and procedures relevant to forklift operations Valid Forklift Operator certification/license preferred Ability to complete task within a timely manner with high attention to detail.     The Product Recovery Coordinator works closely with volunteer and community service groups to sort donated food, pack food boxes for distribution and coordinates repacking of bulk product.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


    Receiving Activities
    Unload incoming freight trucks when assignedSeparate all incoming food according to recommended temperaturesWeigh all incoming product and account for spoilage and lossesTag all incoming food and categorize by date following FIFO proceduresCategorize purchase product, and make sure it goes into the correct case count for inventory purposesShipping Activities
    Check and re-check all product for quality control before it leaves Product RecoveryTag and properly stack all product with the correct weight for the distribution side of the warehouseAgency Activities
    Help Agencies unload boxes, and pallets on to the dock (as needed)Equipment Maintenance Activities
    Report needed repairs or maintenance trucks, forklifts, and warehouse equipmentKeep temperatures logs on freezers, coolers, and report any air leaksKeep and accurate count on necessary suppliesKey Stakeholder Coordination
    Work with Volunteer Coordinator on with availability for groups to work in Product Recovery roomMaintain court-appointed community service records (as required by contract with Potter County)Work with other Product Recovery Coordinators and management for coordination with TDCJ trusteesAttend annual safety training with TDCJ and HPFB and abide by all TDCJ/HPFB policies and proceduresGeneral Warehouse Activities
    Clean warehouse and product recovery area on a daily basisMaintain pest control logUpdate the recall board on a weekly basisAdvise of any repairs to managementKeep the warehouse, freezers, and coolers cleaned and organizedMaintain the warehouse to meet all Health Department and Feeding America guidelinesComplies with and makes sure all rules and regulation are followed by volunteers and community service
    Training Activities
    Practice safe handling proceduresResponsible for training trustees, court-appointed community service, and volunteers on sorting procedures.Keeps current on all rules and regulations from Feeding America, Department of State Health Services and the Amarillo Public Health Department


    QUALIFICATIONS


    Valid Texas drivers license is requiredMust be able to clear a Department of Public Safety (DPS) background checkOrganizational and relational abilityBasic math skillsMust possess excellent written and verbal communication and critical thinking skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPointAnalytical thinking and problem-solving skills with an eye for detailPerform all other duties as assigned

    Our client is looking to add a superstar to their team! They are looking for an experienced individual who has worked in the warehouse/distribution industry. You must have have worked in the inventory department and be familiar with the process.

    Schedule: M-F 8a-5p

    Pay: $21

    Temp to Hire

    Must be able to commute to South Charlotte, Valid DL, clean background and ability to pass drug test.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Receive and check in medical implants / instruments into the warehouse from daily couriers and Fedex.

    • Communicate with field sales reps via email and handle surgical case anomalies.

    • Communicate with field sales reps daily about surgical case concerns (backorders, etc).

    • Assess the quality of medical implant boxes received in shipments and scan into SAP; fill office sets with

    replacements.

    • Evaluate medical instruments to be sure everything is in the set and order replacements as needed.

    • Prepare daily medical instruments / implants to leave the office with daily couriers.

    • Ship medical instruments to be repaired / return unneeded inventory to the corporate distribution center.

    • Assemble new medical instrument / implant sets as needed.

    • Ability to be on-call one week per month (after hours and weekend).

    • Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.

    Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and

    external customers.

    • Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel and Outlook). SAP experience preferred.

    • Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing

    exemplary customer service.

    • Ability to work independently and as a team to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of

    instructions given.

    • High school diploma required. Associate degree preferred.

    • 2+ year's work experience required.
