warehouse and delivery personnel engaged in loading/unloading, selecting, packing, shipping, receiving, and transporting of merchandise Manage incoming and outgoing shipment activity. Work with sales and sales support personnel to ensure efficient, accurate, and timely customer service Manage order routing process and inspect loading operations to ensure compliance with shipping specifications, security, and direct movement of shipments from shipping and receiving dock to storage and work area Manage and maintain all
warehouse racking and equipment and the purchase of
warehouse and trucking supplies Set productivity standards for the
warehouse and logistics operations and monitor standards through productivity reporting, performance reporting, and status reporting Manage all
warehouse and delivery personnel including, but not limited to staffing recommendations, training, evaluating, monitoring, rewarding, disciplining, and succession planning Train all
warehouse and delivery personnel on applicable business systems, including the use of the system features to improve accuracy and efficiency of all assigned processes Maintain security of merchandise and equipment Manage and maintain safety standards for all
warehouse and delivery personnel Manage all
warehouse and delivery loss prevention programs Optimize Route Schedule to improve efficiency and reduce costs. Manage all Logistic P/L Accounts and contract labor. Improve Inventory accuracy and Inventory shortages. Qualifications College degree with 2 years or more related experience and/or training Equivalent combination of education and experience Basic reading, writing and arithmetic skills required PIT proficiency, reach truck, order picker, "sit down" propane. Current certification a plus Manual dexterity required for operating machinery and handling small parts Ability to lift to 70 pounds Service oriented, Customer first attitude Listens well, Supportive and acts as Operations liaison to Sales team.
