Position Summary

To serve our internal customer by ensuring all warehouse inventory is counted and reconciled accurately and maintained according to established company standards.

Essential Functions
Counts inventory and reconciles warehouse stock status daily; compares warehouse inventory reports, truck inventories and sales reports daily and generates recounts of product to resolve discrepancies and locates variances. This position involves handling, stocking, organization alcohol products. Enters all shipping and receiving invoices, products stored in the warehouse and all damaged and out of date products into company database for inventory and tracking purposes. Compiles information on receipt or disbursement of material, equipment, merchandise or supplies and computes inventory balance, price and cost. Stocks and issues materials and merchandise. Adheres to all company policies, standards, procedures (e.g. OSHA and safety requirements, Federal/State/Local Laws). Communicates with other employees and customers regarding requests for information; management team regarding any problems or issues (e.g. employee and customer concerns, reporting issues). Completes time-off requests, inventory balance reports, price lists and shortages and other required paperwork according to established standards. Maintains confidentiality of inventory levels, customer information, product costs, pricing information and other sensitive and confidential standards. Works assigned schedule, exhibits regular and predictable attendance and works overtime as needed to meet workload demands. Performs other related duties as required.

What You Will Do * Uses power equipment (e.g., forklift) to unload deliveries for trucks, organizing and storing received items in appropriate areas * Efficiently and accurately receive purchase orders, checking for damaging and comparing purchase orders with invoices and/or packaging lists * Accurately pulls products from warehouse shelves based on item number, size, color, and quantity requirements * Packs and stages completed purchase orders for delivery * Verifies accuracy of items picked from warehouse shelves and staged for delivery by other warehouse associates * Achieves or exceeds performance expectations by completing all receiving tasks efficiently and effectively * Trained and performs tasks in cross-functional areas, such as picking, pulling, labeling, shipping, and/or helping with deliveries, as assigned by management * Individual Contributor Minimum Qualifications * High School or GED General Studies or Trade School Graduate * 1-2 Years Experience in distribution center operations or previous warehouse experience * Physical fitness to move continuously throughout the facility, lift up to 40 pounds, and operate power equipment. * Adherence to safety protocols, wearing necessary personal protective equipment. * Ability to work in varying conditions, from extreme temperatures to noisy environments. * Strong safety orientation and ability to work independently or within a team. Position Summary As a Material Handler at CEC, you'll play an important role in helping construction projects run smoothly.
