Evaluate existing automation workflows and re-engineer processes to improve speed, accuracy, and system reliability
Integrate enterprise WMS platforms (SAP EWM) with automation systems using APIs, messaging, and industrial protocols
Support the buildout and go-live of a new North Carolina distribution center, including testing, commissioning, and stabilization
Troubleshoot automation issues in live environments and perform root-cause analysis across software and physical systems
Partner closely with operations, controls engineers, and IT to align software design with real-world warehouse workflows

Conveyor systems, scanners, print-and-apply labeling equipment
PLCs and robotics exposure (Allen-Bradley, Siemens preferred)
Industrial / IoT protocols: MQTT, CIP, Modbus (or similar)

    DevOps & Infrastructure
CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps)
    Docker, Kubernetes
Hybrid cloud + edge computing (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK)

    Who This Role Is For:
Have hands-on experience supporting automation in warehouses or manufacturing environments
Understand how software decisions impact physical flow, uptime, and throughput
