    Job Description

    We are in search of a Warehouse Associate to join our growing team. The Warehouse Associate is responsible for performing a variety of tasks to support daily warehouse operations. This includes receiving, stocking, picking, packing, inventory management and facility maintenance. The role supports the flow of products to and from inventory while maintaining a commitment to safety, quality, and customer service.

    Responsibilities Include:

    Accurately pull and process customer orders for delivery and shipping, including labeling and documentation. Receive, stock, and rotate products; participate in audits, cycle counts, and annual inventory. Load and unload trucks. Operate warehouse equipment as required and after proper training, such as pallet jacks or forklifts. Assist with warehouse facility and equipment maintenance. Maintain a clean and organized workspace and warehouse. Communicate effectively with team members and management, attend department meetings, and contribute to a positive work environment. Abide by all safety and compliance protocols, ensuring a safe work environment. Take personal ownership of all customer needs with speed and urgency. Additional duties as assigned.
    The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

    Your Day at Lowe's

    You'll keep shelves stocked and backrooms organized by unloading freight, moving products to the sales floor, and maintaining a clean, safe workspace.     Working Conditions

    Environmental factors vary by location. You may be working in both inside and outside weather conditions.     Summary

    Our Warehouse Cleaning/Janitorial positions perform the following duties within designated work areas, as assigned at the beginning of each shift:

Essential Functions: * Monitor the accuracy of inventory records and transactions between warehouse, scaling area, and the production floor (ingredients, packaging, finished goods etc.) * Authenticate goods going to and from the production floor and maintain notes of any discrepancies * Ensure proper handling and storage of goods and supplies (allergens, cooler storage, dry storage, freezer storage, etc.). * Follow all safety regulations and legal documentation norms pertaining to warehousing * Follow direction and complete all the assigned tasks as delegated by the Manager/Supervisor. * Responsible for making sure product movement is achieved in a timely manner * Responsible for making sure all pertinent information is accurate, both written documentation and system transactions * Responsible for performing multiple warehousing functions to include receiving, shipping, and put away functions * Responsible for maintaining a clean work area * Perform other related tasks as assigned by supervisor * Must be able to work a flexible work schedule to include weekends, nights and holidays * Must be able to work in a cold environment (0-38 degrees) Qualifications (Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities) * 2+ years' experience in the warehouse environment. * High school diploma or GED equivalent * Relevant combination, of education and experience.Knowledge, Skills, Abilities * * Must be able to operate a pallet jack and Forklift * Must be certified at Buena Vista Foods on material handling equipment * Must have experience with WMS applications to include handheld scanners * Must be able to work in a team environment * Ability to manage time to meet targets and deadlines * Must have strong Mathematical skills * Should possess good verbal and written communication skillsPhysical Demands * * The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
