    Position Description - Driver Check In

    Reports to: Warehouse Manager

    FLSA Status: Non Exempt

    Position Objective:

    Ensure all routes are checked in and reconciled correctly while maintaining proper procedures and accountability.

    Description of Physical Tasks:

    Must able to lift 20-50 pounds. Check in all product and returns of all routes. Work among all departments in the warehouse.

    Responsibilities Include:

    Must report to work daily and on time.Keep all warehouse loading and unloading areas clean and free of clutter and debris.Keep all assigned areas clean and organized to include the check in desk, close code racks and any staging required.Check in all routes upon return.Must be knowledgeable in the functions and operations of a delivery handheld.Visually inspect all equipment upon return for damages including all trucks, trailers, pallet jacks, carts, hand trucks, load bars and straps.Visually inspect all cases unloaded to determine their condition.Visually inspect equipment upon return for damages.Prepare and organize all returns for distribution into their correct location. This includes good product, damages, out of code, dunnage etc.Return all “go backs” to their assigned location.Sort all product returned from the market by code date in designated area.Keep all dunnage organized and stacked correctly.Become knowledgeable with all supplier specific code dating.Report any accidents to a supervisor.Must be able to obtain equipment certification.Maintain open and clear communications with the owners, managers, and other employees of Gulf Distributing Holdings Company.Maintain open and clear communications with the vendors and retailers that do business with Gulf Distributing Holdings Company.Obtain from the Warehouse Manager approval prior to working in excess of your regular schedule.Dress in uniform and maintain your personal appearance in a professional manner and according to company policy.Conduct all your activities within the guidelines of all company policies and procedures.Conduct all of your activities in accordance to the local, state and federal liquor control regulations.Perform all work activities in accordance to the safe work practices, policies and procedures.Adhere to all established inventory control procedures and practices.Adapt to any new responsibilities required by the Warehouse Manager.All other duties assigned.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    Minimum of high school diplomaPrevious use of warehouse equipment to include walkie rider, pallet jack, forklift, scanners, etc.Highly motivated to reach goals.Comfortable working as a team or alone.Access to reliable transportation. If driving an automobile while on company business, must possess a valid driver’s license in state of residence and auto insurance. Must be able to pass a background check, MVR, and drug screen.Demonstrated ability to work effectively with internal and external individuals, including other professionals in the community.Work effectively as a member of the team.Effectively communicate.Manage time and work effectively with or without supervision.

    WORKING CONDITIONS / PHYSICAL DEMANDS
    1. Constant (67 - 100% of time) required to walk and talk and hear.
    2. Constant (67 - 100% of time) required to stand; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel object, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms.
    3. Constant (67 - 100% of time) lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
    4. Frequently (34% - 66% of time) Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision and depth perception.
    5. Constant (67 - 100% of time) exposed to moving mechanical equipment and fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet.
    6. Occasionally (more than 10%) weekend and/or overtime work.

    Position Objective:

    Position Objective:


    The POS & Sign Shop Administrator employee’s overall objective is to support the sales team with the tools they need to succeed in the market.

    The POS & Sign Shop Administrator is responsible for reporting items as they arrive and storing them properly to ensure the items are distributed to the proper parties.

    The POS & Sign Shop administrator will manage the sign shop for Gulf Distributing Holdings, LLC. This included managing and fulfilling all signage requests in accordance with our processes and procedures.

    The POS & Sign Shop Administrator must be organized, and its contents tracked and distributed to the proper parties.

    Description of Physical Tasks:
    Keep all warehouse load areas and grounds clean. Place point of sale on hand truck or dolly (approximately 20lbs -50lbs). Fills racks, pushes/pulls pallets and loads appropriate company products. Climbing on and off forklifts and electric pallet jacks.


    Working Relationships:

    Marketing Manager, Director of Marketing, Managing Director of Organizational Development, GM’s, Chain Department, Area Sales Managers, Merchandising Manager, Supplier Representatives, Salesman


    Responsibilities Include:
    1. Execution and oversight of entire POS warehouse and signage production for sales team.

    2. Receive, inventory and store all point of sale, parcels and merchandise upon arrival daily at Gulf Distributing Holdings, LLC.

    3. Communicate POS received immediately to appropriate parties.

    4. Keep POS Warehouse’s clean, organized, and presentable at all times.

    5. Maintain current inventories of in-house POS for monthly review. Provide POS sign out sheet that identifies the placement of the POS in the market by channel and account name.

    6. Maintain the sign shop tickets and produce signage for the sales team.

    7. Maintain and record sign shop inventories on a monthly basis.

    8. Communicate with General Manager and Chain Manager the coupon programs as they arrive in the warehouses. Maintain Open communication with sales management.

    9. Order and keep in inventory miscellaneous sales supplies, glide racks and other items as directed.

    10. Create and provide support materials for on premise, off premise, special events including on site office or warehouse signage.

    11. Attend sales meetings.

    12. Track cooler inventory and stage coolers on POS dock for delivery to retail.

    13. Conduct all activities in accordance with company policies and procedures.

    14. Conduct all activities in accordance with Federal and State (BATF) rules and regulations.

    15. Perform all other duties as assigned and deemed appropriate.


    Qualifications

    The Assistant Warehouse Manager is responsible for assisting the warehouse manager in all daily functions to ensure the timely and accurate loading of delivery trucks while maintaining a safe and efficient warehouse facility.

    Duties & Responsibilities

    Lead and motivate all warehouse personnel through daily development and coaching. Ensure every Delivery Driver is checked-in immediately upon his return to the warehouse; this includes the counting of all returned product, empties, pallets, and carts. Ensure all warehouse employees abide by company policies and procedures. Ability to lead forklift and pallet jack certification classes. Rotate product within the warehouse to make sure the oldest product is loaded for delivery first. Supervise all functions of “Location Based Inventory” and “Voice Picking” programs. Ensure warehouse, grounds and keg/pallet yards are kept clean. Must be able to work flexible shifts to accommodate peak times and seasonal selling periods. Adapt to any new responsibilities required by the Warehouse Manager.
