    Are you an experienced Class A CDL Driver looking for a long-term opportunity with great pay and full benefits? We're hiring for a driver role that combines your driving skills with hands-on unloading using a Boom Crane or Moffett forklift. If you enjoy physical work, working outdoors, and being home every night, this might be the job for you.

    Location: Athens, GA
    What You’ll Do:

    Drive Class A automatic flatbed with Boom Crane

    Deliver drywall, sheetrock, metal framing, and building materials to commercial and residential sites

    Operate Boom Crane to unload materials (helper provided)

    Occasionally assist in the warehouse as needed


    Schedule:

    Monday to Friday

    Start time: 6:30 AM until job completion - usually 4 pm

    Expect to work 50+ hours per week, averaging 10-hour days

    Home daily

    Pay:

    $27+/hr NCCCO Boom Crane Certification

    Requirements:

    Valid Class A CDL with minimum 2 years of driving experience

    DOT Medical Card

    NCCCO Boom Crane Certification 

    Ability to lift up to 100 lbs

    Roles / Objectives:

This role is suited for an experienced CDL-A truck driver who can safely complete regional OTR assignments while maintaining compliance with DOT regulations and company policies.

    Compensation & schedule

    Training pay: $650 during a four-week in-truck training period with a trainer.Base pay after training: $0.55 to $0.65 per mile (experience-based).Performance bonus: $0.04 to $0.06 per mile, paid monthly.Typical home time: Bi-weekly.Estimated annual compensation: $70,000 to $90,000 (USD).

    Primary responsibilities

    Safely operate Class A commercial motor vehicles in accordance with DOT regulations and company policies.Complete assigned regional OTR routes to meet schedules and delivery instructions.Perform pre‑trip, en‑route, and post‑trip inspections; report defects and maintenance needs promptly.Maintain accurate hours-of-service records and electronic logs (ELD).Ensure proper cargo handling and securement; follow drop-and-hook procedures where applicable.Communicate professionally and promptly with dispatch and customers.Adhere to fuel management, routing, and on-road safety protocols.

    Minimum qualifications

    Valid Class A CDL (CDL-A).At least 120 hours of truck driving school instruction completed within the last 24 months (no prior OTR experience required).Ability to meet DOT medical and regulatory requirements and pass required drug screening.Proficiency in English sufficient for safe operation and clear communication.

    As one of our Shuttle CDL Delivery Specialists, you will be responsible for transporting materials to our locations in a safe and timely manner. There are several locations to be serviced throughout the state. This is a full-time driving position, salary based pay with opportunity for bonuses. You will provide friendly and professional customer service at the loading and delivery sites. You are responsible for securing the load and occasionally tarping the product. No touch freight! Material will be loaded and unloaded with a forklift.
