    Counsels management regarding compliance with insurance laws and regulations, internal and external audits and examinations, developments in guidelines from the National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC), and issues with risk management and market conduct. Provides support and advice to all stakeholders regarding property management and day-to-day operational issues. Develops, negotiates, and maintains vendor relationships and monitors performance against service level agreements; resolves or escalates highly complex issues as they arise. Reviews and responds to regulatory complaints. Remains abreast of industry trends, products, technologies, best practices, standards of conduct, ethics, competitive landscape, and legal and regulatory changes to recommend updates to strategic and operational plans for leadership decision-making. Perform other duties as assigned by management.

    Qualifications

    JD degree.

    Requires PA Bar admission. Minimum two years’ work experience in either a title insurer, a law firm or corporate legal department. Interest in title insurance, real estate, and insurance law. Advanced knowledge of contract drafting and negotiations. Experience in litigation management, insurance claims management, and/or real estate/title law is preferred. Requires experience with legal research methods, rules of evidence, and the conduct of court proceedings. Interpersonal, oral, and written communication and presentation skills.     Defensive Driving Academy is a Pennsylvania driving school dedicated to teaching new drivers in Delaware County, Chester County, and Montgomery County to become safe, responsible, confident drivers.

    OPEN POSITION:

    DDA currently has a limited number of driving instructor positions available. Ideal candidates are those who enjoy helping people, especially young people, and believe they have what it takes to become that next great driving instructor, or "DDA Coach." Of course, teaching, coaching, instructing, law enforcement, truck driving, license testing, CDL, fleet, or driving instructor experience of any kind is great, but only a great personality and strong desire to mentor young drivers is required.

    DRIVING INSTRUCTOR - This position requires the ability to communicate, correct and connect. We provide fully insured driving school cars with dual braking and gas. The best driving instructors truly enjoy teaching, and possess the ability to remain firm with parents who sometimes forget our rules and guidelines. Part-time instructors can create their own schedule, or choose to earn a higher rate by allowing us to schedule their hours. The demand for DDA instruction is very high, and we're always booked out 3-4 weeks, so driving instructors can increase their hours at any time. Exceptional instructors will ultimately be eligible to advance into other administrative positions, become supervisors, license testers, or management as our company continues to grow and expand.

    REQUIREMENTS TO INTERVIEW:

    You must be at least 25 years of age; possess a valid PA driver license (a license from any other state is NOT acceptable); have a cell phone and ability to text; be able to deal with different personalities; be punctual; be comfortable driving in all conditions; be a team player; and pass the following 4 background checks:

    Federal FBI check with fingerprint screeningPA State criminal background checkChild abuse clearancePennDOT 3 year driving record
