    Position Overview:
    We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HR Manager to join our growing hotel management company. In this role, you will oversee the daily workflow of the HR department and be responsible for ensuring compliance with federal, state, and location-specific employment laws and regulations. You will play a key role in maintaining a positive, compliant, and productive work environment, as well as managing various HR functions, including employee relations, professional development, and policy modification.

    The ideal candidate will be a seasoned HR professional with at least 2 years of management experience, strong knowledge of labor laws (including California employment laws), and a passion for supporting the growth of a dynamic team in the hospitality industry.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Daily HR Operations:

    HR Policy Management:

Modify policies and practices as necessary to maintain compliance and keep up with changes in laws and regulations.
    Discipline & Termination:
    Manage and oversee the discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy and legal guidelines. Ensure all disciplinary actions are documented and conducted professionally, fairly, and in line with best practices.
    Qualifications:
    Minimum of 2 years of experience in human resources management, with a proven track record of success. Strong understanding of federal, state, and local employment laws, with a focus on California labor laws. Experience in the hospitality industry is highly desired but not required. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is a plus. Experience working in Paycom is helpful. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels. Excellent organizational and time-management abilities, with a keen attention to detail. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.     We are seeking an Assistant Controller to support the company in managing financial functions including budgeting, forecasting, profit and loss tracking, and reconciliation of operating and balance sheet accounts.     $110K-$120K per year + premium benefits.

    Location: On-site, San Diego Campus

    Your role:
    Attend workshops, seminars, and meetings.
    Oversee clinical site experiences, supervision, and evaluation.
    Participate in policy development and various committees related to recruitment, admissions, retention, promotion, and graduation of students.
    Substitute as needed for teaching responsibilities.
    Provide Associate orientation to program, classroom management, and expectations of employment upon their acceptance of the position.
    Assist students with pre-licensure processing and preparation for licensure testing.
    Comply with regulatory and corporate qualifications.

    Your Qualifications:
    Current, Unencumbered, Registered Nursing license in California
    BSN or Master's degree in nursing
    1-2 years of teaching experience preferred
    Minimum 4 years of RN clinical experience

This role will be instrumental in managing the full cycle of legal billing and appeals within our organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the billing process, from the initial stages of client consultation to the final stages of appeal. This role requires a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of legal billing procedures, and a proven track record in collections.

    Responsibilities:

    1. Oversee all aspects of the legal billing and appeals process, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures as well as industry standards.
    2. Work closely with attorneys, paralegals, and other legal staff to ensure accurate and timely billing.
    3. Prepare and submit detailed invoices to clients, making sure to adhere to specific client billing requirements.
    4. Manage the collections process, following up with clients on unpaid invoices and negotiating payment plans as necessary.
    5. Handle any billing disputes, working with clients to resolve issues and ensuring client satisfaction.
    6. Perform regular audits of billing records to identify any errors or discrepancies.
