    Boeing Defense Systems Air Dominance Team is responsible for production & sustainment of the F-15 Eagle. As a Lead Mechanical systems Design & Analysis Engineer, the selected candidate will have accountability for the F-15 Fuel & Hydraulic subsystems.

    The selected candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced, diverse work environment. Team members will work with cross-functional teams including representatives from Design Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Materials & Processes, Dynamics, Liaison Engineering, Technical Integration, Supplier Management, Production Operations, Systems Safety, and Program Management. The candidate must be able to provide technical direction to teammates on mechanical design and effectively communicate with cross functional team members.

    Position Responsibilities:

    Lead and provide technical quality review of the development and documentation of mechanical and fluid systems to establish the system design

    Lead activities to validate and verify mechanical and fluid systems requirements.

    Perform and document analyses. Manages supplier development, test and production activities and directs the supplier to optimize integration and achieve program goals

    Prioritize, delegate and track performance and documentation of analyses of F-15 & F/A-18 Fuel, Hydraulic, Secondary Power, & Fire Protection systems selecting appropriate methods to validate or assess the design

    Support proposal preparation and new business development efforts

    Technical Lead Engineer (TLE) for Fuel &/or Hydraulics Subsystems

    Lead activities related to 2D drawing based to 3D model based redesign

    Perform 2D drawing & 3D model based lead design reviews

    Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) including 5-Why, Fishbone, & Advanced Cause/ Effects Analysis

    Safety Management System (SMS) & Failure Modes & Effects Analysis (FMEA) Support

    Specification Development for Build To & Buy To Packages

    Notice of Escape (NOE) resolution including containment, corrective action, & fleet impacts

    Present Technical Issues to Boeing & US Government

    Host & support supplier/ components issues resolution

    Identify LEAN opportunities/ business capture

    Support 2nd sourcing as well as Market Research/ Sole Source Justification & related FARs

    Trains and coaches others

    Work under minimal direction

    Position Responsibilities:

    Initiate, plan, and execute efforts to develop solutions to tools and infrastructure problems across F-18

    Drive the creation of F-18 technical roadmaps for tooling and infrastructural efforts across all funding streams

    The Boeing Company is looking for a Software Engineer - Embedded to join the Government Vehicle Health Management Systems (GVHMS) team located in Hazelwood, Missouri and Berkeley, Missouri. This position will focus on supporting the Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) & Boeing Global Services (BGS) Software Engineering organization.

    The GVHMS team develops, fields and supports health management systems for defense platforms. The Central Maintenance Computing System (CMCS) is an on-board system that acquires, stores, analyzes and reports the health of the vehicle. The team is looking for a highly motivated software engineer to develop software and software tests throughout all phases of the software development life cycle (requirements, design, implementation and verification). The software engineer will document, design, and develop CMCS software functionality in a service-oriented architecture.

    Position Responsibilities

    • Designs, develops, tests, debugs and maintains software that is integrated into embedded devices and systems and meets industry, customer, safety and regulation standards.
    • Reviews, analyzes, and translates customer requirements into the design of software products for embedded devices and systems.

    Basic Qualifications
