  Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Program Manager (Level K) to join the E-7 Mission Systems (MS) Program Management team in Tukwila, WA or Oklahoma City, OK!

  We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join the Advanced E-7 Program within MS. This leadership position will oversee a subset of the Mission Systems Integrated Product Team (IPT) and provide program management across several key areas, ensuring alignment of engineering efforts with program goals.

  The successful candidate will be responsible for managing program execution in diverse mission systems areas such as Sensor Integration, EO/IR, Self Protection, Electronic Support Measures (ESM), Mission Computing hardware, and Sensor Performance Analysis.

  Position Responsibilities:

  Manages employees performing business management activities in the area of Program Management Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes Establishes Program Management Best Practices (PMBP) program goals and establishes a PMBP improvement plan. Manages, develops and motivates employees

Position Responsibilities: * Gather, define and document Guidance, Navigation and Control mission requirements and ensure requirements traceability and quality from the system level to component level * Use multidisciplinary model data (aero, mass properties, propulsion, etc.) to develop and refine a complex, nonlinear, 6 degrees of freedom simulation model * Support design of flight control laws and tools to achieve design and performance targets * Use advanced analysis to assess and refine the control law design * Perform model validation against test data to inform and improve the accuracy of the simulation environment * Develop supplementary controllers, limiters, mode logic, and signal shaping to properly bound the performance within all areas of the flight envelope * Work with flight simulation and Vehicle Management Systems (VMS) software engineers to incorporate control laws into the operational flight program * Support flight simulations, hardware in the loop testing, and flight testing * Participate in design reviews, analyses, simulations and component/system testing to ensure delivery of products that meet or exceed customer requirements and expectations * Author and maintain engineering documentation for consistency and delivery. * Design trade studies to meet program requirements * Work under general direction Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): * Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement * 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): * Level 4: 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience * Experience with system and component modeling * Experience with implementing algorithms in a real time system * Experience programming in C/C# * Advanced Control Systems courses * Experience using Matlab/Simulink or MatrixX Drug Free Workplace: Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.
