    The Lead Operations Specialist position will be a part of a high-performing team in a very dynamic environment. You will be trained and certified on a complex system. This position will support system assets and resources for a 24x7 operational center. This role will be required to obtain certifications needed to perform the duties of the Lead Operations Specialist within 3 to 4 months of report date. This position will have an occasional need for surging to 24x7 coverage, candidate must remain flexible.

    Position Responsibilities:

    Responsible for ensuring the successful completion of mission objectives.

    Troubleshoot and resolve problems following defined procedures.

    Delegates responsibilities among staff members and operations team.

    Serves as the operations focal point between management and customer representatives during both nominal and anomalous operations.

    Coordinates planned/unplanned facility activities that may impact operations.

    Participates in the development of engineering processes, procedures, methods, and tools.

    Technical analysis.

    Collaborate with other teams and positional specialists.

    Lead a team of operators.

    Function in a high-stress operational environment.

    Understand and support customer needs and priorities.

    This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

    Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):

    Experience working with UNIX, Linux, and/or Windows development environment

    5+ years of experience leading, coaching and developing others (including those who may not be your direct reports)

    Willingness to work a rotating shift to include weekends and holidays

    Willingness to work in a 24x7 operations and support process experience

    Ability to complete a certification program (Specialized training provided (combination of self-study and on-the-job training) in order to learn the necessary skills allowing you to obtain the necessary certifications required for this position)

    Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

    Bachelor's degree

    5+ years of experience working in an Operations environment

    Experience managing customer relationships
