    Position Responsibilities : Collaborate with higher and lower graded employees to accomplish work packages as required . Prepare surfaces for proper adhesion by selecting and using agents for operations such as corrosion removal, paint stripping, and chemical reactivation of painted surfaces. Prepare various paint materials (e.g., primer, enamels, lacquers) according to BAC specifications. Clean and service spray guns, paint tanks, brushes, hoses, and other equipment after use. Mask and unmask areas to facilitate corrosion removal or painting operations as needed. Set up and prepare all equipment and supplies necessary for work operations. Operate curing ovens and related equipment, ensuring proper conditions (e.g., temperature, humidity, pressure drop) for the current painting process per BAC specifications, and document these conditions as required . Monitor and maintain time-sensitive materials and processes to ensure quality and compliance. Screen work instructions to support the division of incoming work and ensure efficient workflow. Perform rework and touch-up painting using sprayers or brushes according to BAC specifications. Mark and wrap finished parts and assemblies as required per BAC specifications. Devise and develop fixtures to facilitate painting jobs and improve efficiency. Obtain and maintain necessary certifications and qualifications to ensure compliance with industry standards. Apply decorative finishes, insignia, lettering, and striping to aircraft parts and assemblies in accordance with blueprints and specifications. Work with engineering to develop and test new painting procedures and materials, including special coatings and variable finishes, while contributing to the development of best practices. Physical Demands and Potential Hazards : Perform physical tasks that include lifting weights ranging from 10-15 lbs to 15-35 lbs. Engage in various movements such as reaching, handling, turning, twisting, lifting, lowering, climbing, balancing, bending, kneeling, crouching, and squatting. Work in environments that may involve contact with metals, solvents, and coolants. Operate in proximity to moving parts and tools, sharp cutters, and potential slipping hazards. Adapt to varying noise levels and atmospheric conditions. Utilize personal safety gear to protect face/eyes, hands/arms, and feet while performing job dutie s. This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

    Basic Qualifications : 1+ years of experience prepping, cleaning, and painting various surfaces in industrial, commercial, or academic settings. 1+ years of experience using and maintaining various types of paint equipment and applicators, such as HVLP, pneumatic, electrostatic, and others. 1+ years of experience utilizing and following detailed work instructions, reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, or specifications Experience using basic math (e.g. addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, & ratios). Experience do you have handling chemicals and/or hazardous materials. Ability to walk constantly throughout the workday; stand 6-8 hours per day; climb or work from stairs/steps up to 8 hours per day; climb ladders; bend and twist frequently up to six hours per day; squat and kneel. Ability to use and operate low impact vibratory tools (sander/buffer). Ability to use a respirator or have been respirator certified. Preferred Qualifications: 1+ year of experience performing aircraft or autobody painting and finishing operations. Completed 1+ year of autobody paint/collision repair in high school or community and technology college academic program. Typical Education & Experience:

Assemble and install aircraft plumbing and electrical systems within closed areas of the wing and horizontal stabilizer, ensuring compliance with specifications. Perform pickup and rework, incorporating changes and conducting functional checks on work typically installed by lower classifications. Perform continuity checks for electrical systems and hand form electrical wiring and soldering as necessary for work assignments. Perform final cleaning and closing of fuel cells, including vacuuming and installing fuel cell doors. Locate and pre-install routing and clamping hardware for in-wing fuel tank electrical and plumbing systems as required. Use precision measuring instruments to verify that quality standards are achieved. Report job handicaps, such as errors in sequencing, parts, materials, and assembly procedures, following shop procedures. Check work after completion of each operation to ensure assembly is complete and free of defects and remove and replace installations and related components as necessary.     Position Responsibilities

    Review job assignments using bar charts, SOI, IP, and consult with leads to obtain necessary drawings.
