PHP Software Engineer

Salary: $100-120k + 8% annual bonus

Skills: 3+ yrs PHP, SQL, TypeScript + APIs

In this Software Engineer II role focused on integrations, you will build and maintain web application features that support rich user experiences across desktop and mobile. What You Will Be Doing

Design and develop user facing and backend features using PHP, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS, and related frameworksBuild and consume REST and SOAP APIs to support system integrationsWrite secure, modular, maintainable code following accepted development standardsRefactor and optimize legacy PHP code while supporting platform stabilityRecommend and implement improvements aligned with modern security and development practicesCreate and maintain automated tests as part of the development lifecycleCollaborate closely with team members using modern communication tools in an agile setting

What You Need For The Position

Bachelors degree in computer science or a related field, coding bootcamp, or equivalent practical experience3 or more years of professional experience as a software engineerHands on experience with PHP, JavaScript or TypeScript, and SQLExperience both designing and consuming RESTful APIsStrong problem solving and analytical skillsAbility to communicate clearly and work effectively within a Scrum team

Experience building healthcare related applications is a plus but NOT essential
