Duties: Patient exam/evaluation (medical history, physical exam, review pertinent med records/imaging) Assess patients’ injuries and determine whether an “Emergency Medical Condition” exists Order and review tests/labs including but not limited to x-rays, CT scans, MRI studies, computerized range of motion tests, computerized muscle tests, EKG, spirometry, EMG, NCV, blood tests, urine tests, Doppler Ultrasounds, etc. Calculate impairment ratings Diagnosis and treatment plan formulation - Prepare detailed patient treatment plans, progress exams, and final exams Patient education as to diagnosis, treatment options, rehab/exercises, and various modalities Manage patient care Treatments- perform large and medium joint injections & trigger point injections Conduct ultrasound guided and non guided large and medium joint injections & trigger point injections. Documentation and progress notes- Prepare daily progress notes for services rendered and prepare reports of clinical findings Collaboration with the multidisciplinary team for comprehensive patient care Assist Medical Specialists (Orthopedic Surgeon, Neurosurgeon, Pain Management Specialist, Neurologist) with Evaluation & Management of Patients Requirements: Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner (NP) program NP license in FL Orthopedic, Physical Med and Rehab, or Pain management background Schedule: Monday - Friday Total Compensation: $ 10 5k - $130k (plus performance-based bonus compensation) Benefits: RVU based bonus compensation PTO/Vacation Health Insurance Dental and Vision coverage optional Life insurance optional Paid Holidays We are looking for a provider who is independent and confident, and willing to work in a complimentary setting providing high quality care with a comprehensive approach.
