Job Title: Warehouse Worker / Onsite Technician
Job Description
This onsite warehouse technician role supports a busy industrial facility by safely handling materials, collecting and moving waste, and operating mobile equipment throughout the plant. The position works on second shift and plays a key part in keeping production areas clean, organized, and running efficiently.
Responsibilities
Make regular waste and trash pickups throughout the facility, including cardboard, plastic, and metal scraps, to keep production areas clean and safe.Move, stage, and empty trash gondolas in the plant using appropriate equipment and safe handling procedures.Operate mobile equipment, such as forklifts and other material handling tools, in a safe and efficient manner after proper training and authorization.Support packing, picking, packaging, assembly, and general production-related material handling tasks as needed.Assist with shipping and receiving activities, including moving materials and finished goods within the facility.Follow all safety procedures, including the proper handling of hazardous materials in accordance with training and site guidelines.Use required personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow site safety rules at all times.Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate pickups, equipment use, and workflow.Maintain a clean and organized work area and promptly report any safety hazards, equipment issues, or incidents.
Essential Skills
Experience with general
warehouse tasks such as packing, picking, packaging, material handling, assembly, and shipping and receiving.Ability to operate or learn to operate mobile material handling equipment safely, including forklifts after training and certification.Capability to perform physically demanding work, including walking, standing, pushing, pulling, and lifting throughout the shift.Strong attention to safety, including the ability to follow procedures for handling waste and hazardous materials after proper training.Reliability and ability to work the full second-shift schedule, including required Saturdays.Willingness to wear safety boots (steel-toe or composite) and all required PPE.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Preferred: Prior forklift experience; training will be provided if necessary.Preferred: OSHA 40-hour training; this training will be provided if necessary.Familiarity with hazardous materials handling and HAZWOPER-related tasks is a plus.Comfort working in a fast-paced, noisy industrial environment.Strong teamwork and communication skills to coordinate tasks in a busy facility.

Work Environment
The position is based onsite in a large, busy automotive manufacturing facility with a high level of activity and noise. You will work second shift from 2:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch. The schedule includes working two Saturdays on and one Saturday off on a rotating basis; when Saturday work is required, another day off during the week may be provided, or you may work Monday through Saturday with appropriate pay for all hours worked. The environment involves extensive movement throughout the plant, frequent interaction with production areas, and regular use of mobile equipment such as forklifts and material handling tools. Safety boots (steel-toe or composite) are required, and all other necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) is provided. The facility is fast-paced, busy, and noisy, and the role requires comfort working in an active industrial setting.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.50/hr.
