Description

SUMMARY

Responsible for ensuring efficient material flow and maintaining a well-organized and safe working environment. Responsible for receiving and material handling to supply production lines, inventory, and shipping tasks. Operates a pushcart, pallet jack, forklift, or automated guided vehicle (AGV) to move, stack, load, or unload materials throughout the plant, warehouse, staging areas, etc. Work may include using banding and stretch wrap machines. May use bar code readers, computer terminals or other electronic devices to track product as it is moved.

Requirements

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Operates material handling equipment, including push carts, pallet jacks, forklifts, and automated guided vehicles based on the needs of the task. Completes inventory counts, visually inspects materials and labels for accuracy. Loads or unloads materials onto or off of pallets, skids, or lifting device. Inspects material handling equipment for safety and maintenance issues. Lubricates, recharges batteries, or replaces liquefied gas tank as needed. Inspects trailers to verify that they meet quality management system standards before loading or unloading. Completes appropriate documentation as required.Unload and accurately receive raw materials based on vendor bills of lading and warehouse management system parameters.Move product from the end of the manufacturing line and place in designated area of the warehouse for storage. Completes required documentation as required.Picks, stages, and loads materials for customer orders based on pick lists and warehouse management system parameters. Completes required documentation as required. Store and retrieve materials from the warehouse based on warehouse management system rules. Maintain clean warehouse including following all safety procedures and performing daily safety inspections.
Food Safety

Responsible and required to notify management about actual or potential food safety issues; and empowered to act to resolve food safety issues within their scope of work. Education:

Skills/Knowledge:

Experience with washer operation and/or wastewater management, with a strong understanding of quality testing procedures, maintenance tasks, and safety protocols. They should possess excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively. Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills are essential, along with a willingness to adhere to regulations, learn new technologies, and actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the production environment.

Computer Skills:

The ability to work effectively with computers, including barcode scanners, warehouse management systems, AGV controls, tablets, apps, as well as company quality and training software. Familiarity with Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is a plus.

Warehouse II / Counter Sales

The best fit is someone that has customer service, general warehouse and forklift experience. This role will be split from counter and warehouse, must have strong customer service skills while also being okay in the warehouse. General warehouse duties including cleaning, unloading trucks, organizing, and working at the counter, helping with orders.

DUTIES: Under general supervision, performs manual and clerical duties related to the shipment and receipt of materials, supplies, equipment and finished products. Receives goods, verifies items against the record of shipment, and inspects condition. Gathers, verifies, and packs items for shipment according to specifications and the transportation method used. Records received and shipped items according to established procedures. Routes materials, supplies and equipment to inspection or stock areas. Completes written and computerized documentation.
REQUIREMENTS: Requires a high school diploma or GED. Drug Test Background Check Warehouse skills Forklift experience Counter Sales or Customer Service skills Computer skills Must be flexible
ABILITIES: Knows typical shipping and receiving procedures and can handle some exceptions. Requires basic reading, writing and numerical ability. Valid driver's license with good driving record may be required. Able to operate powered equipment such as forklift or hydraulic jack lift. Effective verbal communication skills. Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
