Warehouse Associate
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for shipping, receiving and recording the movement of parts, supplies, materials, equipment and stock to and from an establishment.

Duties/Responsibilities:
Select inventory to fulfill customer orders according to packing slips and standard operating procedures (SOPs); utilize forklift to move shipmentsNotify management of any discretions in inventoryPack, seal, and label materials to prepare for shippingProcess overnight courier shipments usingUse computer software to: generate labels for shipping; update order information; process overnight courier shipments (UPS, FedEx, etc.); input inventory informationStage orders for delivery and loading of trucksPull and package/roll laminate as needed for customer ordersPerform cycle count of inventoryPerform housekeeping duties within your work area to maintain a clean and safe working environmentMaintain and organize adequate shipping suppliesPerforms other duties as assigned
Required Skills/Abilities:
Ability to follow directions and work well in a teamThorough understanding of
warehouse policies and proceduresMust have the ability to safely operate a forklift and other related equipmentPrioritization, Organization, and Execution ability to multi-task in a stressful, fast paced working environment, with attention to detailMust have the ability to interpret and follow through on directions given by managementStrong organizational skills and attention to detailStrong time management skillsTechnical capacity and basic computer skill
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent requiredFamiliarity with basic
warehouse and distribution processes as well as equipment and machinery preferredMust have experience with and ability to use computer software and systemsKnowledge of shipping, receiving, cycle counting and inventory management preferred
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to walk, stand, carry materials, stoop, kneel, bend at the waist, reach overhead and climb stairsProlonged periods of walking and standingMust be able to lift and/or move items up to 45 pounds
Work Environment:
This job operates in a
warehouse setting, with some outdoor exposure during the workday.
