    Role Overview

    The Foreman is responsible for supervising and coordinating daily field operations on concrete construction projects, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project plans, specifications, and company standards. This hands-on leadership role involves directing crews, managing labor and equipment, overseeing concrete placement and finishing activities, and maintaining a high level of quality control and safety compliance. The ideal candidate is an experienced concrete professional with strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

    Primary Responsibilities

    Plan, schedule, and oversee daily activities of concrete crews including laborers, finishers, form setters, and equipment operators. Interpret and implement construction drawings, specifications, layout, and elevations. Coordinate material deliveries, equipment needs, and crew assignments to maintain production goals. Supervise concrete placement and finishing operations, including formwork setup, rebar installation, pour sequencing, and curing. Ensure proper use of forming systems, tools, and equipment, including safety procedures and maintenance checks. Conduct pre-pour and post-pour inspections to confirm readiness and quality. Maintain clear and effective communication with superintendents, project managers, subcontractors, and other trades on site. Monitor work progress and productivity, identifying and resolving delays or issues promptly. Maintain accurate daily field reports, timecards, and jobsite documentation. Enforce all safety policies and procedures, conduct daily safety meetings (toolbox talks), and ensure use of PPE by all crew members. Identify and mitigate hazards on site; stop work when necessary to correct unsafe conditions. Train, mentor, and evaluate performance of crew members; support professional development and skill growth. Ensure finished work meets quality standards, tolerances, and project requirements.     Minimum Qualifications

    High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training in construction or concrete preferred. Minimum 1-3 years of experience in concrete construction, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role. Strong knowledge of concrete construction techniques including forming, placing, finishing, curing, and repair. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, specifications, and layout documents. Job Details GENERAL SUMMARY: The Assistant Store Manager helps maintain a clean, well-organized store with a customer-first focus.     The Florence Project was founded in 1989 to respond to a representation crisis for indigent non-citizens detained at the rural Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Detention Center in Florence, Arizona. Through our programs today, we provide services to thousands of adults, youth, and children detained in Eloy, Florence, Phoenix, and Tucson, Arizona on any given day. In 2001, the Florence Project implemented our Integrated Social Services Program, one of the first of its kind in this field. The Florence Project provides high quality legal and social services and supports initiatives for national changes in immigration law and policy.

    Staff Attorney - Direct Representation:

    The Staff Attorney will work on a team to provide pro se assistance and/or direct representation to individuals in ICE custody in Florence and Eloy, Arizona, including cases where individuals have been found incompetent. The position involves substantial work on individual intakes, group and individual court counseling and prep sessions, and other direct services to immigrants facing removal proceedings. The Staff Attorney will represent clients in bond and merits proceedings before the Immigration Court (EOIR), as needed, as well as appeals before the Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA). The Staff Attorney may also work on related matters before the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). The Staff Attorney will provide "Know Your Rights" presentations and pro se workshops, as needed, and will refer cases to the Florence Project pro bono and social services teams. The Staff Attorney will also have the opportunity to participate in outreach activities and collaborative projects with other Florence Project teams and partner organizations.

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

    Casework:
    Provide direct legal representation to individuals in removal proceedings, including those found incompetent. Provide representation
    before the Immigration Court, the Board of Immigration Appeals and USCIS as needed. Handle most forms of relief, including cancellation of removal for LPRs and non LPRs, asylum/withholding/CAT cases, adjustment of status for refugees and other non-citizens, citizenship, T and U visas, and VAWA claims. Refer cases to other teams according to the established procedures. Refer cases to social services for support and follow up work. Conduct intake interviews and provide group "Know Your Rights" presentations to unrepresented individuals at the detention centers in Eloy and Florence, AZ, as needed. Educate participants on how to represent themselves and prepare pro se materials as needed. Conduct formal intakes. Provide follow-up Pro Se Assistance as needed, including but not limited to: Conduct legal research to determine eligibility. Write pro se motions and briefs on legal issues before the immigration court and Board of Immigration Appeals, and/or USCIS. Review court files. Organize supporting evidence. Review relief applications and prepare detainees for court when necessary. Professional Development/Training - Attend mandatory training and other CLEs and training ad hoc.Remain current in immigration law, and on implications of criminal and civil law. Complies with required ethical standards, preserve client confidentiality, and avoid conflict of interest. Maintain complete and accurate case notes and client records. Prepare timely statistical reports. Conduct case audits for presentation and review as required.
    Administrative Duties:
    Follow cybersecurity rules and other compliance requirements. Attend and actively participate in FIRRP meetings; including staff meetings and joint case review meetings as scheduled. Track hours, data, and mileage for reimbursement as appropriate. Maintain case notes, data and time keeping in a timely manner and keep electronic and physical files organized.
    Outreach and Advocacy:
    Attend occasional meetings with stakeholders including EOIR, ICE officials, and/or CCA officials to discuss ongoing issues. When requested, speak on behalf of FIRRP in various settings including media, panels, conferences, conference calls, to visiting students, to visiting funders, or to community groups. Participate in internal or external advocacy or outreach objectives relevant to FIRRP's mission. Develop and maintain cooperative relationships with local and national community partners, including but not limited to private immigration attorneys, public officials, law enforcement officials, and other nonprofits that provide services to the immigrant population. Develop and maintain professional relationships with the EOIR, ICE, USCIS, government and social service organizations, and community organizations. Communicate with the Legal Director about advocacy initiatives and legal training for the community. Participate in developing and implementing special projects or presentations. Perform other duties as needed.
    Minimum Requirements:
    J.D. and admission to any state bar. OR must have sat for the bar July 2025.Alternatively, applicants who are law school graduates who have taken the Uniform Bar Examination (UBE) and achieved a score of 260-269 are eligible to apply, with commitment to purse admission to the Arizona State Bar through the Arizona Lawyer Apprentice Program (ALAP).

Prior advocacy work in immigrant rights, human rights, LGBTQ rights, criminal justice, individuals with mental health conditions or experience working with trauma survivors is a plus. Duties & Responsibilities Leadership support: * Assist in managing day-to-day administrative support of the office. * Schedule and manage meetings with executive leaders from COM-P, UA, and partner hospitals. * Prioritize and arrange meetings, conferences and appointments for department leadership; make necessary travel reservations and itineraries; determine and prepare background materials needed. * Prepare and design materials for meetings as directed, and take meeting minutes. * Investigate, evaluate and resolve typical administrative/operational problems or situations impacting staff/faculty work unit. * Manage all logistics for meetings (room reservations, technical support, food and beverages, parking arrangements, communication to participants, etc.). Department Support: * Prioritize workload, meetings, and appointments to meet work unit operations. Assist in the coordination and implementation of multiple projects. * Provide skilled support on a variety of strategic initiatives, with direction (such as organizing documents, tracking progress, action items). * Evaluate and recommend operational changes to work unit to ensure effectiveness and compliance with University policies and regulations. * Investigate, evaluate and resolve typical administrative/operational problems or situations impacting staff/faculty work unit. * Work with appropriate administrative offices for website updates as required. Financial Management Activities: * Purchases & bill pay for department (P-card, Disbursement Vouchers, travel & other reimbursements). * Maintain finance documentation as required. * Manage and travel arrangements, honorarium payment, etc. for guest speakers. General Office Operations: * Compose confidential correspondence when required, as directed. * Organize and file office documents as required (department inbox, phone lists, inventory, etc.). * Coordinate business affairs, personnel matters and may interpret policies and procedures. * Order supplies.     Clinical Simulation Subject Matter Expert Translates and applies advanced bedside clinical experience and nursing process to develop, implement and conduct high fidelity simulation scenarios across the spectrum of all courses and cases taught in the simulation center. Leads as simulation liaison (single point of contact) for all parties on assigned courses in design, implementation, management, evaluation, and re-design of varied and complex simulation activities. Communicates with internal and external leaders, physician faculty, staff, learners, and clients to translate clinical curricula and case scenarios into successful simulation events.Works closely and collaboratively with a wide variety of physician faculty and clinical providers. Assures complex, multi-room live simulations reflect bedside and simulation best practices. Manages simulation clients, courses, scenarios and training events across a broad spectrum of clinical and academic complexity. Most in-patient scenarios are high fidelity and complex. They include physician faculty, bedside interprofessional presence support, and simulation operators for each room and case.Monitors and makes real-time changes to complex events to assure fidelity and consistency with course and case learning objectives. Provides time-sensitive feedback and redirections. Implements changes with all stakeholders including course and simulation faculty, clinical and technical simulation staff, external clients, etc.Applies evidence-based clinical practice and best simulation practices to all aspects of events as the subject matter expert.Simulation Clinical Operations LeadershipResponsible for all aspects of assigned simulation courses for internal (COM-P) and external (GME and all other) client and student needs.This Lead position has end-to-end responsibility for simulation success and resource use, from planning through implementation.Plans, secures, manages, and directs all required physical and support resources to assure student and client success in a live, simulated hospital environment.Negotiates, schedules and implements physical resources (facilities, equipment, technology, supplies) and assigns all faculty and staff support required before, during and after each event.Assures student assignments, rotations and use of equipment and facilities support course objectives, and clinical simulation best practices.Creates, negotiates, communicates, and implements detailed course plans, role assignments, and schedules that fully support clinical curricula and learning objectives. Recommends changes to departmental staffing, budgets and purchases based on needs of each.Develops and manages detailed tracking and billing documents for simulation events.Analyzes, forecasts, and problem solves equipment, supplies, and staffing needs for each event using ingenuity and innovative solutions.Directs on-site, real time event leadership and coordination on technical and procedural elements during simulation events.Delivers simulation-based clinical education to students, faculty, staff and clients.Staff Management and DevelopmentManages, recruits, assigns, on-boards, trains, evaluates, and develops all staff and faculty participating in simulation events.Supervises assigned participants (clinical, faculty, staff, technical, etc.) for all events and special project shifts. May supervise two additional full-time employees.Schedules, pairs, and assigns faculty and staff in each scenario to assure program requirements and student outcomes are optimized.Develops and conducts prebriefing, debriefing, and training sessions for staff and faculty.Provides ongoing staff recruitment, on-boarding for each course, assessment, training, re-assessment, and professional development to calibrate skills with current and emerging clinical and departmental requirements.Best PracticesSeeks out and complies with adherence to best practices in simulation.     Minimum Qualifications
    Bachelor's degree or equivalent advanced learning attained through professional level experience required, and;8 years of relevant work experience, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
    Preferred Qualifications
    Master's degree in nursing from a State Board of Nursing approved school of nursing. Two (2) or more years bedside complex patient care clinical experience, preferably in Critical Care, Emergency Medicine, or Step-down unit. Experience precepting, teaching, and/or supervising in a clinical, curricular or simulation setting.Five (5) or more years in-hospital patient bedside experience specialty area (Med/Surge, Pediatrics, Labor and Delivery, Perioperative).Simulation experience, or specialty certification in simulation.Experience with instructional design and experiential learning principles.Previous teaching experience.Frequently required to lift up to 50 pounds.
