Columbus, OH Start Date: March 22, 2026 End Date: May 17, 2026 Duration: 8 weeks Schedule: Day shifts (7:00 AM – 3:00 PM), Monday–Friday, with night beeper call and 24-hour beeper call on weekends Hours per Week: 40 Minimum Commitment: Physicians able to work at least 7 consecutive days per month are encouraged to apply Estimated Weekly Pay: $145,830–$156,250 Gastroenterology Physician Qualifications Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology Active Ohio medical license (IMLC preferred; licensing assistance available) DEA registration required ACLS certification (must provide proof and maintain current status) Moderate Sedation: Complete educational packet and post-test (minimum 80% accuracy) Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in gastroenterology Documented procedural experience: ERCP: 150 cases in past 2 years Esophageal/Duodenal/Luminal Stent Placement: 20 cases in past 2 years Colonoscopy: 100 cases for initial appointment, 150 for reappointment Credentialing: Temporary privileges available Gastroenterology Physician Responsibilities Deliver full-time GI coverage for adult patients at a 434-bed Level 1 hospital Perform advanced GI procedures including ERCP and EUS Conduct history and physical exams for GI patients Perform esophageal, duodenal, and luminal stent placements Conduct argon plasma coagulation and mucosal biopsies Perform colonoscopies with or without polypectomy Diagnostic and therapeutic esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGD) Enteral alimentation and esophageal dilation Foreign body removal and polypectomy via EGD Flexible sigmoidoscopy Gastrointestinal motility studies and 24-hour pH monitoring Nonvariceal hemostasis (upper and lower GI) Percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy Utilize EPIC EMR system for clinical documentation Apply now to join our
