Express Plumbing and HVAC Services is looking to hire a Massachusetts Licensed Journeyman Plumber to join our team. We are a small business operating out of Hatfield, MA and complete both commercial and residential work. We are looking for a motivated individual who is committed to ensuring excellent work quality and customer satisfaction.
Minimum Qualifications:
MA Journeyman's Plumbing License
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with others
1-2 years of plumbing experience with a MA Journeyman's license
Experience with new construction, residential, commercial, renovations, and service work
Ability to work in a range of conditions, locations, and environments
Valid driver's license in good standing
High School Diploma or GED required
Ability to climb stairs, work from heights, frequently stoop, bend and kneel, lift up to 75 pounds, work in tight spaces and handle exposure to loud noises, humidity, cold temperatures, dust, fumes, and gases
Operate power and hand tools safely
Follow instructions from supervisor and is receptive to constructive feedback
Dependable and reliable to show up to scheduled work shifts
Effective communication skills and can accurately manage billing and invoicing
A willingness to learn and grow within the role
Self-directed and responds and adapts to directions given by supervisor
Preferred Qualifications:
2-4 years of plumbing experience with a MA Journeyman's Plumbing License
OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Certification
Job Responsibilities:
Strong understanding of plumbing systems, techniques, practices, installation, maintenance, and repairing pipes/fixtures
Safely operate and maintain a clean, stocked work van
Proficiency in plumbing codes, systems, and safety regulations
Ability to mentor, guide, and instruct apprentices and other team members on the job site
Provide professional and practical advice and suggestions to customers to meet their needs while ensuring safety and comfort
Compile accurate records of estimates, time, labor, and materials
Responsible for preventative maintenance and troubleshooting system malfunctions in a variety of settings
Executes the installation, maintenance, repairs, and servicing of water and drain systems
Reports problems with equipment and vehicle promptly
Ensures tools and equipment are stored properly and kept clean
Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor
Hours: Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm with weekend hours and overtime available if desired
Salary Range: $37-45 an hour, depending on relevant experience and education
