The Senior Solution Architect's responsibilities include: Collaboration and Communication: Develop and nurture strong, trusted relationships with key business and technology stakeholders Work closely with the product owners and product managers to ensure a robust architectural runway that can support future business requirements throughout the product life cycle Support product managers in end-of-life product decisions to maintain, refresh or retire services or systems, including applications, technologies, processes and information Represent IT at project inception and assist in creation of business cases and the preparation of project funding proposals - including TCO Offer technical guidance on initiatives, helping select and guide the implementation of appropriate technologies Take part in strategic planning sessions for both business and technology, and help create roadmaps for business and technical capabilities Architecture and Governance: Translate business and technical requirements into an architectural solution to achieve business objectives with consideration of business drivers and capabilities Promote straightforward, standardized, scalable, and automated solutions guided by Zions' philosophy and architectural principles Define principles, architecture patterns and standards to ensure solution decisions are aligned with the enterprise's future-state architecture vision Create architectural solutions to guide and contextualize solution designs/development across products, services, projects and systems Develop future state roadmaps for products and technologies that align to and enable business objectives Assist Business Analysts and System Owners in defining technology and non-functional requirements for solutions Leadership and EA Practice: Keep up to date on emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices Mentor others in Architecture thinking Champion and enable innovation and AI Qualifications: Possess strong hands-on expertise across multiple technical fields or has advanced from traditional development roles into architecture or leadership Solid experience with multiple modern languages, patterns and technologies such as python, java, integration fabric, cloud computing, IaC, CI/CD, automated testing, virtualization/containers, API management, messaging/streaming, Gen/Agentic AI, etc. Strong problem resolution, analysis and trouble shooting skills related to information architecture concepts that enable well architected and integrated transactional, analytical, and collaborative systems Leverage systems-thinking to ensure breadth and depth of architectures Strong organizational, project management, and time management skills Excellence in written, verbal and presentation skills when working with business leaders, project management, and technical experts at all levels Listen actively, resolve conflicts, negotiate, and lead business leaders and project teams toward optimal outcomes through collaboration Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Technology Management, or a related field, plus more than five years in architecture or IT leadership within highly regulated industries. The Special Assets Group ("SAG") is responsible for managing credit relationships for which the borrower is experiencing financial difficulty and repayment could be or is in doubt. The primary objective is to mitigate risk to the bank with the first priority being to work with the borrower to find a way to restore the credit but if not possible, then to maximize the recovery to the bank through various workout strategies. We are seeking an experienced Loan Workout Officer ("LWO") that would support the Texas market that is branded under Zions Bancorporation as Amegy Bank. This person would join an existing workout group that covers various credits that originate from Amegy's commercial banking team, commercial real estate team, the energy team and business banking team. These credit facilities range in size from $1M up to $100M plus including single hold and syndicated credits. The LWO is responsible for the workout of adversely graded commercial loans through the restructuring of debt, negotiation of settlement agreements, pursuit of appropriate legal action and/or the liquidation of collateral. The ideal candidate will have the skills and experience to: Manage the workout of adversely graded commercial loans through debt restructuring, negotiation of settlement agreements, pursuit of appropriate legal action, and/or collateral liquidation. Secure collateral, equity, or borrower assets to preserve loan principal, gather interest, and prevent or limit losses. Liquidate real estate or other assets as necessary and/or manage properties or other assets owned by the bank. Communicate across all levels of management on the current status of non-pass credits and provide reasonable forecasts for resolutions. Review lender liability issues to avoid lawsuits and control legal expenses. Develop good working relationships with internal and external industry contacts. Maintain knowledge of laws, regulations, internal policies, and procedures appropriate to the position. Provide assistance to less experienced Workout Officers. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Requires a Bachelor's in Finance, Business, Accounting or a related field. 1-4+ years commercial/RE/business loans, lending laws, credit analysis, credit monitoring, loan workouts, lending or other directly related experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience may meet qualifications. Employs advanced knowledge as a generalist or specialist of commercial/business lending, lending laws, bankruptcy laws and cash flow analysis. Advanced working knowledge of collection processes and practices. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written required.
