We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer I to join a thriving company in Union, Ohio. This role provides day-to-day support for products in our manufacturing assembly areas, driving continuous improvement through lean manufacturing principles to enhance quality, efficiency, and productivity.
Day Shift: 7am-4pm or 8am-5pm
Pay: $75-$90K plus bonus and outstanding benefits
Preferred Skills:

Assembly Maintenance Technician Job Summary:
Pay: $21.00 - $32.00 per hour
Shift: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM (Monday - Thursday with an occasional Friday)
Employment Type: Direct Hire
Conduct machine setup, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance
Follow standardized work instructions and support operational improvements
Perform quality checks and inspections
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
Perform emergency and scheduled equipment maintenance
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area following 5S and Kaizen principles
Adhere to OSHA safety regulations and use PPE correctly
Assembly Maintenance Technician Qualifications:
Advanced technical training in mechanical, electrical, pneumatics, hydraulics, and PLC
Previous employment in a manufacturing environment
Clear understanding of lean principles and application of lean tools
Dependable and predictable attendance
Ability to work unsupervised
Clear understanding of programmable controllers and robotics
Ability to compare work against quality standards and distinguish acceptable tolerances
Thorough knowledge of automation safety with exposure to high-speed equipment
Clear understanding of material flow and supply chain management
Physical strength and stamina to perform job duties
