    Zero-Max is currently recruiting for a Shipping Coordinator responsible for verifying and keeping record on outgoing shipments, prepares items for shipment by performing the following duties, and other tasks appropriate to typical shipping department functions as directed by the production supervisor


    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    Enters shipment data into freight carrier’s computer system for tracking and label purposes Pulls required inventory and packages product in suitable container for shipmentPackages product to prevent damage in shipmentExamine outgoing shipments to ensure shipments meet specifications.Determines method of shipment.Affixes shipping labels on packed cartons and/or adds identifying shipping information on cartons.Maintains inventory of shipping materials and supplies.Operates power lift truck or uses pallet jack to move, convey, or hoist shipments from shipping and receiving platform to storage or work area.Must work closely with Customer Service, Production Control and Assembly departments to ensure timely deliveries.Communicate with freight companies when loads are ready as well as pick up status.Assists with assembling products as needed.Demonstrates our core values of provide best in class service and solutions, hold ourselves accountable, and do the right thing



    Requirements:

    Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

    High school diploma or GED preferredSix months shipping experience in a manufacturing or similar environment preferredExperience operating a forkliftKnowledgeable in MS Office, and experience with ERP systems – Epicor preferredEffective writing and communication skillsGood mathematical skillsAbility to use sound judgment and prioritize tasksWork closely with all levels of staff focusing on shipping and production duties

    Zero-Max is currently recruiting for a Maintenance and Tool Room Manager is responsible for all building and equipment improvements and maintenance. Designs, builds, and maintains required tooling and fixtures for production machining of all Zero-Max products; manages Tool Room and Maintenance employees.


    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    Machine Shop

    Plan, coordinate, and schedule all preventative maintenance and repair activitiesAnalyze, diagnose, and repair CNC equipment, including mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systemsPlan and oversee all installation activitiesAnalyze and diagnose machining and tooling issuesOversee and support TIG welding of productsPerform TIG welding in absence of welderEnsure that safety program and initiatives are followed and recommend changes to ensure safety

    Tool Room

    Design and build tools and fixtures for production machining Coordinate the machining and construction of tools, gauges, fixtures, etc.Check tools to ensure that precision standards are met.Requisition of the purchase of small tooling requirements.Oversee critical spare part stock and orders components as necessary

    Facilities

    Conduct regular inspections of facilities to detect and resolve problemsManage relationships with contractors and service providersPartner with leadership and assist with all shop and office projectsCommunicate openly with leadership team and inform them of potential problems and/or solutions

    Supervisory Responsibilities

    Provide overall supervision of Tool Room and Maintenance employeesResponsible for all aspects of performance management including interviewing, hiring, training, planning, assigning and directing work in addition to appraising performance, resolving problems, and acting on opportunitiesDemonstrate our core values of best-in-class service and solutions, hold ourselves accountable, and do the right thing


    Requirements:

    JOB REQUIREMENTS

    EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

    High School or equivalent required; with some appropriate post-secondary related education Eight to ten years of general machine shop experience including welding, and/or three to five years of tool & die experience, and/or three to five years maintenance experience. Three to five years supervisory experience.Must have experience maintaining CNC Mills and Lathes.ERP experience; Epicor a plusMicrosoft Office experience

    Zero-Max is currently recruiting for a Machinist 3 who will be responsible for the set-up and operation of multiple, complex machines with little or no supervision. Instructs less skilled machinists. This is the top-level machinist position. Employees at this level should be highly proficient with all less complex machines in the shop.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

    Sets-up machines of a complex nature including horizontal/vertical milling or mill/turn with multi axis twin spindles, twin turretsOperate machines of a complex natureMaintain set-up sheets for new parts or design changesEdit machine programsSelect proper tooling for different machining sequencesInstruct less skilled operatorsPerform finishing work such as, deburring, sanding, etc.Maintain a clean and safe workplaceDemonstrate Zero-Max's Core Values Requirements:

    Education/Experience

    Associate or technical degree in Machining and 5-7 years’ experience with equipment of a complex nature; or 8-10 years’ experience with equipment of a complex nature; or a combination of education and experience.

    Required Skills

    Must be highly proficient at set-up, operation, determining tooling, process sequences, speeds and feeds, shop mathematics, and thorough on inspection of parts and instruction to others. Programming is not a prerequisite for this position but is a plus.
