  Based in Michigan, Zeeland Lumber & Supply operates truss and wall panel component manufacturing plants along with full-service building material yards that distribute lumber and an expansive range of specialty products, such as windows, doors, roofing, cabinets, decking, and interior and exterior trim.
  
  A Brief Overview
  The job requires the ability to effectively work with the GC and sub-contractor(s) to ensure safe and productive jobsites. The ability to schedule materials and equipment with office and supervisor. Ability to work with a timeline to get a job or task completed. Flexibility in work schedule to adjust to the needs of the job assignment. Collaboration with the team and help on other jobs as needed.
  Ability to perform and complete building tasks on a jobsite as needed. I.E build a wall, move a wall and or punch out a building.
  
  Job Purpose/Mandate
  Provide onsite supervision to ensure adequate workmanshipProvide and maintain a clean and safe workspaceTo ensure work is performed in a safe and proper mannerTo ensure the job is on schedule and within budgetTo ensure good communication between field and officeSafety ComplianceEnsure proper licensing for equipment
  
  Specific Duties and Responsibilities
  Manage subcontractorManage onsite safetyManage cleanliness of workspacePerform daily logsManage materials both incoming and returnsManage changes to scope and correct ticketing procedures on all changesMaintain all requirements by GC on jobsite. (contractual obligation)Ensure tickets or COR's are properly documented and communicated to officeCommunicate with GC about progress and issues as neededFill out and maintain weekly toolbox talks with subsFlexibility in moving to different sites as required
  
  Working Conditions
  Must be able to adjust to changing weather conditionsMust be aware of your surroundings, other trades may affect your jobsiteEnsure materials are stored properlyProper PPE must be worn at all timesEnsure proper PPE for all framing subcontractors
  
  Knowledge and Skills
  Must have 3 plus years' experience in carpentryMust have 3 plus years in a supervisory roleMust have good communication skillsMust have ability to motivate teamSpanish speaking a plus but not mandatoryGood organizational skillsSelf-motivated and able work with little to no supervisionMust be able to read and follow blueprintsStrong interpersonal skills

  Job DescriptionJob DescriptionBased in Michigan, Zeeland Lumber & Supply operates truss and wall panel component manufacturing plants along with full-service building material yards that distribute lumber and an expansive range of specialty products, such as windows, doors, roofing, cabinets, decking, and interior and exterior trim.
  
  This position is focused around kitchen and bath sales.
  
  A Brief Overview
  The Inside Sales Representative assists with new and existing customer sales and provides product support to outside sales representatives. This position provides quotes and product dimension information, both in person and over the phone.
  
  What you will do
  Respond to customer inquiries regarding product selection, placement of orders, prices and quotations, complaints, and scheduling of deliveries and installations.Initiate telephone calls to customers to generate sales.Obtain orders from customers and sales representatives; enter work order, credit return, return authorization, pick ticket, and service request; file paperwork accordingly.Coordinate purchase and delivery of special products. Obtains information on pricing specifications, uses and availability.Manage schedules for project by coordinating with outside sales, jobsites, and assigned customers.Maintains stock levels on the sales floor and in the stockroom.Researches credits, returns, and late payments as needed.Check on back orders and resolve any outstanding issues; solve billing problems and compile data for closing.Handle special orders and advanced pricing; assist with pricing and special price lists.Develop and grow professional relationships with customers.Resolve jobsite issues and customer problems.

  Education Qualifications
  High School Diploma or GED required.
  
  Experience Qualifications
  1-3 years of experience in building material industry with basic knowledge of product and application required.1-3 years of inside sales experience preferred.
  
  Skills and Abilities
  Ability to operate computer, calculator and cash register.Knowledge of building supplies, applications, related equipment, and/or construction industry.Good interpersonal and customer relations skills and excellent oral and written communication skills.Should be familiar with inventory and inventory control.Must be able to walk throughout yards, plants and offices.
