    Position Summary: The EVOLVE Program Coach is responsible for training implementation and coaching for the EVOLVE program, Youth Guidances innovative approach to scaling tier 2 group intervention circles to improve student outcomes. Youth Guidance trains school staff to facilitate EVOLVE circles while also providing training to school staff on creating safe, supportive and responsive learning environments. The EVOLVE Program Coach will support in this effort, working collaboratively with the Manager of Curriculum Design, Director of Professional Development and Curriculum Design, National Implementation Manager, EVOLVE Evaluation Manager, and design consultants. The EVOLVE Program Coach will travel as needed (20%) to facilitate training and coaching with school based EVOLVE Circle leaders.

    Essential Duties/ResponsibilitiesCo-facilitates the implementation of the EVOLVE Training Academy, the programs professional development and coaching strategy to build capacity of EVOLVE Circle leadersProvides on-going training during EVOLVE Circle leaders virtual coaching sessionsProvides technical assistance and support to EVOLVE Circle leaders on EVOLV(ed) , the programs online learning management systemAssists the adaptations of the EVOLVE curriculum, a structured group curriculum that supports students in forming a positive sense of self, developing healthy relationships, and engaging in schoolWorks collaboratively with the program team and EVOLVE Evaluation Manager to iterate curriculum design as warrantedCollaborates with the Manager of Curriculum Design, Director of Professional Development and Curriculum Design and design consultants to ensure that best practices in the fields of student and educator well-being, healthy relationships, and effective learning environments.Participates in ongoing staff development, as needed, to stay current with ongoing program area trendsAssures the agencys core values and key concepts are interwoven into program design and implementation, as allowed by program stakeholdersSupports, builds, and shares best practices for positive student outcomes.Supports school staff with tracking and monitoring student data.Performs other duties as assigned

    Minimum QualificationsEducation/Experience/Training

    Bachelors Degree in education, social work, psychology, human services, or counseling3-5 years of work experience in education, human service, youth development, or social service field3-5 years of work experience in curriculum development or school-based program implementationExperience using a Learning Management System (LMS)Experience working in and with schools and school staffExperience in creating and facilitating professional development for school staffA minimum of 3 years of working in or with an educational system with a focus on student well-being support is strongly preferredExperience in a Middle or High School setting preferredSkills/Abilities

    Position Summary: Reporting to the Director of New Site Development, with a dotted-line relationship to the Executive Director, the Director of Development will serve as a compelling ambassador for Youth Guidance Washington DC. In close partnership with the Executive Director, the Director will lead a comprehensive fundraising strategy to sustain and scale the organizations programs. This role will leverage Youth Guidances national reputation and local impact to build donor relationships and expand government contracts and philanthropic support from individuals, corporations, and foundations. The Director will also work collaboratively with the Executive Director to strengthen the local Advisory Councils engagement, generating increased resources, visibility, and partnerships that advance the organizations work in the Greater Washington area. Essential Duties/Responsibilities:Develop, oversee and direct the implementation of the Youth Guidance Washington DC
    annual development plan and annual fundraising goals and targets that achieve funding sustainability and growth; Monitor fundraising results and report progress to the Director of New Site Development and Executive Director
    on a monthly
    basis.Partner with the Executive Director to engage with key champions, including Youth Guidance Washington DC Advisory Council members, to leverage networks for connections that grow resources, visibility, and strategic partnerships.Manages the Washington DC Advisory Council by supporting the Executive Director and Advisory Council Chair in organizing quarterly meetings, developing meeting agendas, organizing member engagement opportunities and optimizing member fundraising activities.Manage a portfolio of foundation, corporate and individual
    prospects and donors, strategically moving each relationship to and through solicitation; Maintain and strengthen relationships with current and past donors.Oversee local
    government relations and advocacy strategy to mobilize public sector leaders as champions of Youth Guidance Washington DC
    through public hearings, site visits, and engagements that unlock public funding and partnership opportunities. Oversee and manage the Washington DC
    grants calendar by enhancing processes and procedures to ensure a collaborative and timely approach for proposal and budget creation, prospecting, grant submission, ongoing engagement, and reporting.Completes ongoing prospect research to identify
    viable local funding opportunities.Lead donor engagement and cultivation activities and support the Executive Director in strategic engagement with funders.Maintain current knowledge of the Greater Washington areas local operating and philanthropic context, including education and political landscapes, as well as trends in the field of youth development.Develop effective partnerships with national
    Senior Leadership Team and programmatic and administrative department staff to design and fulfill annual fundraising
    strategy and goals.Partner with the Marketing & Communications team on strategy and execution of an annual communications plan.Maximize use of Salesforce
    (Client Relationship Management) database with a focus on moves management and annual giving processes. Participate in team meetings, agency training, and staff development.Other duties as assigned.Minimum Qualifications: Education/Experience/TrainingBachelors degree required;
    masters degree preferred.Minimum of 5 years of professional fundraising experience with a superior record of achievement in complex, mission-driven organizations. Experience in youth development, human services, and/or K-12 education sectors preferred.Experience engaging and partnering
    Greater Washington area funders and community-based organizations preferred.Experience operating in a collaborative development environment and in planning and leading successful initiatives and projects from concept through planning and execution.Solid understanding of comprehensive fundraising programs, including individual, foundation, corporate, and
    special events.Government relations experience, preferably with local government and federal agencies.Experience working with volunteers to leverage fundraising efforts.Experience in leveraging
    a fundraising Client Relationship Management (CRM) system to drive moves management tactics and strategy.
    Salesforce experience is a plus.Superior writing skills to produce compelling material, including grant proposals, organizational reports, briefs, fact sheets, and PowerPoint presentations.Proven experience in building relationships and effectively working internally and across teams in a hybrid office environment.
