Overnight Commercial Kitchen Cleaner / Steward, Manhattan NYC
Pay: $19 per hour, depending on experience Shift: 11pm to 7am, overnight Location: Midtown Manhattan, ZIP 10118 Schedule: Full time
About the role You will be cleaning a busy NYC restaurant kitchen overnight so it is fully prepped for service the next morning. This is a hands on, detail focused role for someone who already knows their way around a commercial kitchen.
What you will do Clean and sanitize all surfaces, including prep tables, equipment, machines, and refrigerators Wipe down the exterior of all ovens and stoves Scrub grills and flat tops Clean the hood, vents, and filters Wash walls and doors Sweep and mop all kitchen floors Take out trash at the end of the shift Leave the kitchen ready for the next service
Who we are looking for Experience cleaning commercial kitchens (required) Reliable transportation to and from Midtown Manhattan Comfortable working overnight, on your feet, and lifting up to 50 lbs Strong attention to detail and pride in your work
