Year Round Pool is hiring for a Pool Service Technician in our Savannah area based out of Thunderbolt. Pool service experience a plus, but not required as we will train. Shifts include Monday - Friday and Tuesday - Saturday, with some Sundays. Shifts usually start between 6:00 am - 7:00 am and end when the last pool is cleaned (most days no later than 6pm). There will be a salary review at 30-45 days and 60-90 days with a yearly review after that.
Starting salary with no experience: $18/hour, paid weekly
Job Responsibilities:
Driving the company vehicle to customer’s location.Maintaining equipment and chemical stock levels at store and in the vehicle.Conduct regular cleaning of pools, including maintaining proper water levels.Testing swimming pool water pH, and chlorine levels.Adding acid, chlorine, and other chemicals to correct pH level.Cleaning swimming pool using authorized equipment.Replacing globes in underwater light fittings.Fixing cracks or leaks in the swimming pool structure.Fitting and repairing pipes and plumbing for spas and pools.Servicing and fixing faulty pool cleaning equipment.Completing paperwork and reporting service requirements to management.Requirements:
Active driver's license with a clean 3 year history.Ability to lift heavy equipment.Ability to work in harsh weather conditions.Professional appearance.Able to work and provide proof of ability to work within the United States.Benefits:

2 years of professional pool care experience required, knowledge of pool mechanics/chemicals etc;Knowledge of troubleshooting and repairing pool pumps, heaters, filters, timers, lights, automated pool systems, and PVC plumbing is highly preferred but we also provide extensive on-site training;Knowledge of 110v and 220v electrical equipment;Knowledge of water chemistry;Ability to safely operate a company vehicle while maintaining a valid driver's license;Ability to life and carry up to 50lbs;Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with management, other employees, and customers.Other reasonable duties as assigned by management
Qualifications:
Minimum of three years experience repairing and/or replacing pool and spa pumps, filters, computer controls, chlorine generators and propane heaters.High School Diploma or equivalent
